Chicago, LA, and SF are all capable of hosting an outstanding Olympic Games. It would be great to have the Games in the USA again. Of the three, SF is the city with the most international appeal, but their previous Olympic bid was hurt by venues spread across a large geographic area. The IOC much prefers venues that are in close proximity to each other and thus easily accessible to commuters. LA has hosted two very successful Games (1932 and 1984) and could certainly do so again. Chicago would be a gorgeous setting for the Games and could probably prepare a bid offering a tight cluster of venues. It will be exciting to watch!
