We are taking this cruise and then hopping over to Amsterdam and doing a Baltic on Celebrity that has three days in St. Petersburg. I am hoping to do a trip to Moscow.

Great travel plans !! We were going to the Baltic this year, but decided to cancel and go on the POA in Hawaii.
It's great being retired ! This will be our first TA. Have wanted to do one for years but couldn't be at sea that long because of my elderly mil. Deloris passed away last Dec. so now we are able to go. My sil will be joining us. Would love to hear more about being at sea for 5 days. Sounds heavenly !

Well, Tom had some problems with the 23 hour days. It doesn't sound too bad, but it was hard. We were on the 2013 EBTA, and I was so happy with the crossing, I hope we have similar seas!




This was 1/2 way in the voyage!

That will be a great experience for your family!
The WW Ii Beaches of Normandy will be our #1 priority after the cruise. They should be relatively easy to get to from Dover!
We won't be on board when we celebrate our special date, June 10th. That's the date we met in 1966, so we're celebrating 50 years next year!

I was booked on this years cruise too, however I am due to give birth two days before it leaves so I was hoping for an amazing itinerary again in 2016 but I am really disappointed, I really wanted them to go back to Iceland etc as part of this cruise, for me Liverpool etc have no appeal, If it is an amazing deal we may give it a go but I just begrudge paying Cruise Line prices to get somewhere that I could go in 20 mins from home.

I also think that of all the places in the UK to Visit that Liverpool and Newcastle are not the best and will not give the best impression of how wonderful England is.
