2015

You can only book rooms online for the first half right now, so I imagine you can only book packages for that long too. I would assume it would be a few more months before the rest of the year opens up. We don't usually recommend packages here on this board, especially so far in advance because of the change fees that you must pay if you want any changes made.

So do you book everything seperate - rooms, tickets, dining??? I know nothing about a Universal trip and need all the help I can get!!

We book directly with the hotel, get our tickets separately and never book any dining....you just don't need to at Universal. We have never made a reservation yet at Universal. But there is opentable.com if you felt the need.

Have a look at the Universal Orland website for a starting point, and have a look at the stickies at the top of the Universal threads.

There is loads of valuable information on there about everything you need to know.

I did see that one advantage to booking a package for an off-site hotel, is that you can get the early entry to HP. For a Universal hotel stay, though, it's included for your hotel booking so you don't need a package. But I see what PP are saying about change fees if you book a package too early.
