NOVEMBER 15, 2015 DISNEY MAGIC FISH EXTENDER SIGN UP LIST!!!!!! Hey Everyone, I don't know about you but i'm super excited about our cruise in less than 3 months!! Like a lot of you, I've been wondering about the Fish Extenders and it seems as if no one had started a list. I figured the easiest way for us to do that was to start a google doc that we can all go to and edit by adding our families and cabin numbers. That way we can all see who is where and come check in as the cruise gets closer. The website for the doc is below. Sign up your family on it as I've added mine and as the trip comes closer, I'll send out a reminder message here to make sure everyone has signed up that wants to, and to make sure you have all the cabin numbers you'd like to add to your own list to visit try to get your name added by oct 31 and check back prior to the cruise to see the final list with everyone's name!! So excited to see everyone

If you can't edit the document, leave your info here and I will gladly add it for you I will need your cabin #, names in the cabin, and any (optional) special info you'd like your fellow cruisers to know! I.e. Birthdays, anniversaries, etc!

I thought I'd save the first post above so we could use it to update information as this roll call gets going.

I've booked this cruise for myself, my parents and my cousin, her husband and their 4 kids (the last one is ready to be born in the next couple of weeks).

The 5 night was a reasonable price, worked well being Sunday to Friday and of course, I wanted a stop at Castaway Cay!

My parents and I are avid cruisers but it's the first time for my cousin and her family.

So we are:

Me (Trisha) - ready to turn 40 in a couple of days but will be 41 on the cruise
My mom (Connie) - is a full time wheelchair user so we've scored the massive aft balcony cabin for her.
My dad (Bill) - retired earlier this year and is driving everyone a little nuts.
My cousin (Jessica) - ready to pop out kid number 4 any time. I took her to Disney World for her highschool graduation present and she's been a disney fan ever since.
My cousin-in-law (Mark) - long suffering and hard working man who always seems to get overlooked. His only request was for a balcony and a car trip so he can spend time with his kids.
Cousin Kid #1 (Danny) He'll be 7 - loves the Avengers and Toy Story.
Cousin Kid #2 (Ali) She'll be 5 and is already such a princess - her mom calls her a hippie because she's a "go with the flow" kid
Cousin Kid #3 (Mark Jr - or Marky) He'll be 3. He's my god-child (not that I treat any of the kids differently). He was a tough pregancy for Jessica but pulled through and is almost as tall as his older sister.
Cousin Kid #4 (To be named at a later date) - this little bundle of joy is expected sometime in early to mid July. They know it's a boy and have a name picked out but aren't telling everyone. My guess is the kid will either be a William or a Jessie.

Well, that us! 4 kids, 3 cabins, 2 mini vans, and 1 giant bottle of extra strength advil!

Well hello there Princess Trisha!! I'm so glad to have someone to talk to about this cruise!! We are also booked on this sailing and it will be our 3rd DCL cruise! My little group is:

Me-Julia, I will be 50, but celebrating my birthday early on the cruise.
DH-Sam, he will be 47 at the time of sailing and we will be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary on the cruise! Our actual wedding date is in May, but the prices for that time were not what we hoped for. Oh well, you can celebrate anything at anytime on DCL or in WDW!!
DD-Tessa, will be 5 at the time of sailing. This will be her third Disney cruise and LOVES anything Disney!!

We live in a suburb of Chicago, IL. We are also hoping two other families and friends of ours from the Detroit area will be joining us! They have yet to get it booked though. Fingers crossed!

We are looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I am hoping that we can get an FE going!?!

Glad to see that someone else is on this cruise Julia! I was beginning to wonder if I'd picked a bad date or something!

Once we get a few more peeps, we can certainly get the FE underway. The good thing is with this cruise being more than a year away, there's lots of time to plan.

I'll admit after dealing with a few giant FE groups and a couple of smaller ones, my preference for this cruise would be small FE groups (of no more than 20 cabins) even if it means having 2 groups. I think it would make it much easier to handle in the 5 days than a really big group. But I guess a lot of that depends on the number of people who want to sign up.

We got together with my cousin and her kids to see the new baby (who is named Kenneth - or Kenny for short) and to celebrate little Marky's second birthday. It was so cute - the 7 year old had a list that he had written himself of what he wanted to do on the cruise (his dad called it "the list of demands"). It ranged from waterslides, to seeing sharks to getting a massage! I have the feeling this is going to be 5 fun packed days for us.

Hi! I just booked this as our first ever family cruise, Disney or otherwise! After searching all of the internet for others on this cruise, I'm so glad to have found this thread! So here is a little about our group:

me (Ashley)- will be 32 at time of cruising, first time cruiser, Disney addict
DH (Jordan)- 30, the only seasoned cruiser of our group
my mom (Tanya)- 56, first time cruiser and the original cause of my Disney addiction
DD (Olivia)- she'll be 8, a little nervous about being on the ocean, she loves the princesses
DS (Sam)- will be 6, as of now he is our biggest Disney fan. He loves princesses, toy story, all Disney jr characters
DD (Charlotte)- she will be 3, at WDW at 2 her favorite character was Pluto. She loves Disney JR and all of the classic characters.

Hi DIS folks... Excited!
Just moved my placeholder to this cruise. Most likely it will be my DS and I! He will however be turning 20 that week so.... he is thinking the TWEEN program is not going to be exciting, but he IS looking forward to actually getting to PALO. Or who knows.... now that I am not so busy being a MOM I will have found a great guy by then and my son will get the cruise boot anyway!

This will be our platinum cruise! We have loved Disney forever! We did not cruise this year because we went to Tokyo Disneyland/Sea instead (DS's HS graduation present.)

Doubt I will do the FE this time? But who knows.... Every time I see small Disney gift I think.... oh look stuff for FEs! I have to stop myself from buying it!

I really can't wait for this cruise (though I've got 2 cruises on other cruise lines booked in between).

My cousin was looking for a countdown calendar so I recommended the Disney Navigator app for their Ipad. When Danny saw the app and how many more days it was, he said, "I don't want to play that game!".

I can't believe how much pre-cruise planning we've already completed. We're driving down in 2 rental vehicles over 3 days and I've found the optimal places to stop (so it's 8 hours, 8 hours, and 7 hours of driving). We're planning to spend a couple of days before the cruise at the beach (looking at Marriott's Oceana Palms for 2 nights - Friday and Saturday) - I have a bunch of Marriott reward points to use so hotel rooms for 9 of us won't break the bank.

Now I just need to wait for mid-November so I can book everything (at the pre-one year mark).
