2014 points chart now up

Just noticed the 2014 points chart was up on the DVC website. Went through quickly and there doesn't appear to be any changes this year.

It seems weird to me that the first two weeks of December are still Adventure season, seen their high request.
I'm guessing if DVC likes to have periods of very high demand in order to force the purchase of a favorite home resort. People willing to add on on a specific resort may want to purchase direct if they find difficult to find the right UY. If any resort could fit, resale is easier to find.

Apparently the only thing that changed was Grand Villa points at Aualni due to the removal of one to build the new QS location.

I was under the impression that they only made point reallocations 2 times since the beginning of DVC . Seems stable to me .

There was a reallocation at OKW very early on and then none for many years after that, unless you include the creation of the Standard View room category at BWV. Then we had two reallocations in two years just recently. There are limits on how much change can occur in any one year so it took two years to accomplish what they wanted to do. It wasn't clear to those of us who experienced those recent changes if they were done or still working through a multi-year plan. There was some discussion in the first of those two years that they had let things go for too long and that reallocations may occur more often going forward.

Some of the dates were moved to different categories based on when Easter and Thanksgiving fall. I assume this happens every year, though. I booked the end of April 2013 under Magic season (easter is early in april). In 2014, those dates are Premier season (easter is late in april), so much more per night.
