2013 Sept trip

Lol. There have been a few Canadians we've run into on this trip. We are currently at Ohana with friends for dinner. We were very disappointed to hear that they have cancelled the entertainment. No hula lessons, no coconut races and no serenades. Apparently they are testing just simple dining experiences right now. We are building 18. Back here to Ohana for breaky tomorrow morning. We were having dinner at the same time as you there. As well as staying at POR. I wonder how many times we crosses paths and didn't realize it


I'm sure we rode the bus together at some point!

We were at MK on Sunday the 22nd and it was amazing. No lines all day long.
Epcot on Monday - low crowds and toughed it out during the torrential rain.
Tuesday was Animal Kingdom - beautiful day and our group of 13 was picked to ride on the floats in the parade. We were on Mickey's float

Wednesda - went to Universal - it was okay, but wouldn't go again.

Thursday - back to MK - Much busier than Sunday, but still loads of fun

Friday - ended out trip with Hollywood Studios and Fantasmic.

Now we are at home

Hey Sugar, more than likely we crossed paths at some point. I have been wearing my Jays cap a lot so other canucks will know. Hope you had a wonderful trip! It has been great weather the last two days and hoping for the next 4. We just left AK after Y&Y and did KRR and PW. Back at resort for some rest then off to studios for EMH.

Hope your family is all healthy. We have all come down with the stomach flu which I'm sure we picked up either at Disney or the plane. It's inevitable with all those people. I'm glad we were not sick for the trip, but a bit worried that the kids are missing even more school

So far so good! Did an 8:05 ADR at CP this morning. Great as always! Rode POTC, SPLASH, BTM, TS and BL. Now back at POR for swimming and relaxation. Heading back to MK for EMH later and ADR at Tony's. Weather is hot and humid and no rain.

We decided to skip our ADR at Tony's and just eat counter service at MK. Ate at Pecos Bill. SnowWhite and DD16 Shared taco salad and chili cheese fries. I had the bacon cheese burger and DS had onion rings. DD4 had child's burger. Good meal overall. Rode Buzz 6 times, LF, BTM, HM, POTC, TTA. Lines were quite reasonable. Did Wishes as well. Today we did Typhoon Lagoon. Fantastic weather for it and no lines longer than 10 minutes. Heading over to Epcot for F&W.

Thanks Lisa and I am jealous as well considering you own DVC and I do not. Well we hit F&W hard and tried perogies and kielbasa, ravioli, canoli, sausage w/ciabatta bun, pretzel, empanada, beef skewer, doofinslurper, warm choc pudding, prime rib taco, kimchi dog w/spicy mustard, pot stickers and beef w/ steamed bun. Going back again tomorrow night to finish it off. Watched the Go Go's and tomorrow is Air Supply. Brings me back to my childhood.

Well this morning we got up first thing to head to MK to ride Jungle Cruise that re-opened yesterday only to find it closed. The only reason we went there today! We are now waiting for our Chef Mickey's ADR. Last day of our trip. Heading back to Epcot for more Food and Wine tonight.

We finished our eating around the world tonight and boy are we full! Yummy, yummy, yummy. Picked up some gifts for people and requests. Air Supply was good, pretty much sound the same as the eighties. The Go Go's were good last night as well! Back to POR and got packed to head home tomorrow. Back to reality.......

Back to reallity for sure, we got back on Tuesday. But think about it this way if you don't come back home you can't go back there so ... Anyway welcome back to the real world and on your next trip please continue your updates it is very nice to read

Hello all, we finished up our trip Thursday with a Downtown Disney shopping spree and got some lunch (Earl of Sandwich). We bought some extra wraps for the way home. We had some extra counter services left and used some of them. In total we left with 5 table services unused and 10 counter services unused. We left "The World" at 2:45pm and arrived back in Peterborough at the exact same time. The drive home was uneventful and the border crossing was a breeze. The nicest border guard ever! Very nice and personable! I miss Disney already and have started to plan for 2015 already! We are taking next year off. Total kms round trip were 5200.
