2013 point chart?

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere, but I can't find it. The letter we received with the 2012 book said the 2013 points charts will be online in "early January." Anybody know exactly when?

I'm holding off on reserving RCI for this October, waiting to see how much the October points change in case we decide it's better to do WDW in October instead. But I am getting antsy!!

We received the 2012 planner last week. I wish the book would come out earlier. Seems strange to send out the charts when people have already been booking rooms for over 11 months.

The 2012 points were already issued in the 2011-2012 planner. Sending out a 2012 only point book was useless, but since we pay the fees, I guess MS does not care. If I were planning a vacation in early 2013, I would be calling MS and sending emails everyday. We are less than 2 weeks away from potential stays reaching into 2013 and they still have not published the points. It might be different if they had not announced that they were making several changes to the points.

the 2013 point charts have not been released yet. the 2012 point charts were released over 12 months ago.

I am really really hoping they come out soon. We are trying to decide when we are going to WDW next year. We are looking at going our usual week Dec 16-26 or switching it up a bit and doing Dec 30-Jan 9. Without those point charts I can not decide, but I need to make a reservation soon if we are going our usual week. I have my fingers crossed they come out before the weekend so I have some time to plan and think about what we want to do.

I wish they would hurry up as well. For the first time we are considering doing a New Year's trip Dec. 29-Jan. 7 but it will depend on if the point allocation changes for that time frame. We usually go during Thanksgiving but my kids have the week after New Year's off and we thought it would be nice for a change to try a different time of year but I am not sure if we will have enough points. Hurry up DVC!

Wouldn't Jan 24 be the drop dead date anyway. Starting the 25 would lead a 7 night reservation to Jan 1, 2013.

I would think they HAVE to have it out before then. They can't possibly allow booking without the points chart. Sounds like setting themselves up for litigation to me. I would assume in the next week it will be out. Crossing my fingers as to where they make changes as my purchase was just sent into Disney today for ROFR.

I think the 1st reallocation a few years ago was pushing that window. I don't go to WDW at that time, but I remember the posts here on the board.

People were getting pretty nervous about making those NYE week reservations. That's how close it was.
