Okay .... thinking of 2013. I have a cruise on the Wonder out of Miami on March 11th, but I'm leaning towards any free dining offer in early March or February. Any theories on 2013? This is your thread!

Hi Ted! We are booked on the Dream Mar 10/13. Have to plan pre and post cruise. Also have to explore all flight options!

We are going on the fantasy march 2 2013. my last two trips to orlando ive banked vacation days and driven to bangor and portland. this may not be an option this time. My boss is planning retirement thus I am actively looking for a new job. Thus the quickist in and out is priority. I live in moncton. Have you ever seen 900 return for 2 people out of moncton going to orlando. when does air canada typically put on sales. is it predictable or just whenever. all help greatfully accepted.

We are heading to WDW for our third trip in August 2013. This time we will stay 14 days. We are considering buying into a DVC. It would be great to get free dining during our 14 days of celebration. This is going to be our tenth anniversary and my 40th birthday extravaganza. DH has suggested deluxe dining, maybe a fireworks cruise. So excited to be planning this one.

Ok ... have my flights now. Feb 24th going from Halifax to MCO and returning on March 14th .... Now waiting for discounts!

Looking to fly from Detroit early first week in March. I hope the tradition of free dining will continue. Do you think they will offer the "Great Canadian" discount? I am ready to book! Bring on the offers!! Looking for some pixie dust!:tink:

I'm watching for an August announcement for free dining for feb or march 2013....

We have booked our flights. Am flying in the day before our cruise March 9 and will fly back the day after the cruise. Staying in Cocoa Beach the night before and after. Booked with WJ direct flights to MCO from Toronto. Paid less for flights then this past March!

We also have Fantasy Eastern cruise booked for Mar 9th. This will be our 4th cruise with DCL (did a b2b Dream cruise last August and will be on the Fantasy this Aug). We are staying at DVC resort the week before and using DCL transfers to the port and back to the airport. I'm really excited about one of the ports - San Juan.

I booked our direct flight to MCO with WJ and it's much more expensive than last year - same time. I was going to book return but WJ is too early so I'm still shopping for flights.

We are also planning to skip WDW for our August 2013 and go to California to visit DL, US, SW and SD zoo. We're quite excited since it's our first time in California. :cool1:

I'm in constant planning mode....I love it!:cool1:

Ted, not sure about a shuttle yet, if I get a good deal on a car rental I will keep the car and park at the port.

Even though we have been back less than a month, we are looking to head back to the WDW next May for 10 days. Likely we will stay at CBR or maybe Beach Club.

Hoping to take the kids back in August of 2013. It would be great if they offered fd to us a little earlier than usual the same as they did a couple years ago.

My kids are at the age where I don't want to pull them from school and I can't afford the busy times when school is out. I also don't trust our Canadian winter weather to rely that I would get out of here without a snow storm in the winter. That means I'm pretty much limited to the end of summer.

I would really like to be able to go in late spring, April or May but as I said, can't pull the kids out of school and it is more expensive.

Good luck to all of us. :wizard:

Trying to convince the hubby that we should hit Disneyland Paris in July of 2013 while we are in Europe next year. Right now he doesn't want to hear it. I think I should wait until we return from our trip in a few weeks before I start bugging him about more Disney.

Cruise booked- Dream on March 3. Still waiting on flights. Watching JB from Portland,Maine.

We're going in December 2013. I'm planning on 3 weeks - 2 weeks of the kids school holiday plus the first week of January. It seems so far away, I'm trying to not plan until the new year. I have a mini-trip to tide me over.

We are planning for October, November or December 2013 - whatever works out the cheapest.

Really hoping to stay at a deluxe with a big room discount but if not we would be happy with free dining at a mod or value.

Seems so far away and I torture myself reading reviews and trip reports everyday on these boards :rotfl:

Re: hitting DLP since you'll be in the area anyway! :lmao: :thumbsup2 Do it!! When will you get the chance again. It's always fun to see other Disney parks and compare them (good and bad) with the ones you already know so well. We loved our 2 trips to DLP (the first was when we were staying in Paris for a week, the second was specifically for DLP with a side trip to Paris for the day). Not we weren't crazy- we were living in Germany at the time.;)

My current dilemma is a bit like yours. We're going to Japan for a couple of weeks in the fall and I've already gotten the okey-dokey for 3 days at Tokyo Disney at the end of the trip. Now I have to come up with a way to get to WDW either in Feb (our winter getaway trip) or in April for the Flower and Garden Festival.

Wishing us both good luck......

We are planning to go the end of August as well. Well do a week at Universal/Sea world/ Discovery cove etc. and then a week at Disney (excluding travel time)! I hope it is quiet that last week at Disney as everyone says as we went last time in early March and it was crazy! I know it will be crazy hot but if its crowded I can live with that. It would be great to go at the end of September but can't take 16DD out of school for that long as she will be in grade 11! Plan to stay at Universay RPH and then CSR (or POFQ) at Disney. Keeping my fingers crossed that they announce free dinning for Canadians in August like they did last year and starting early as well (19 wasn't it?) as I would love to book soon!

Another August planner over here! Will probably do a split stay at CR and AOA. Can't decide where though in AOA....Cars or LK...waiting for the review to come in! Anxiously waiting for rates to come out soon!! Ohh I can't wait!
