2013 Disney TR

When I was in college, I volunteered at my church's summer school/camp. Each Wednesday, we had a field trip, so everyone had to bring lunch. On one of the days that we went to a park, I stopped by Starbucks (I only ever go in there when my dad needs coffee when driving to Florida!) to grab a sandwich because the Subway I had intended on going to wasn't open. When we arrived at the park and I took my first bite while being surrounded by 4th graders, I was FLOORED.

It was my first taste of havarti cheese.

I'm totally with you there about havarti! Haha. When I see at the store or on sandwiches, I eagerly exclaim, "HAVARTI!" to my husband and retell the above story each time. Clearly, I care about cheese a little too much, but I figured you'd appreciate it!

I see you live in NY. Have you been to Murray's Cheese Shop in NYC? Main, extensive, store on Mulberry St. and a satellite in Grand Central Terminal in the Food Court. mmm:thumbsup2

Sorry for the mini-hijack, AGP. Can't help myself when it comes to NYC food.

Sorry you didn;t meet Belle :(

I don't say this about many things, but I actually NEED that GF Mary Poppins shirt.

Hey, you can't go wrong with fancy! I love your Grand updates.

Too bad Enchanted Tales wasn't a big hit with y'all.

So I've now read over all of your posts, and it has been so much fun that once I realized I was on the last page, I was sad! I didn't know what I was going to do! :rotfl: I'm anxious to read more of your awesome adventure! My first stay at the Grand is coming up in December, and we're staying RPC, so all of your club pics are making me so excited!

Loving the updates so far, following along!

Courtney:cutie:

We haven't yet experienced Enchanted Tales with Belle because I don't know that it's really something we'd enjoy, but hopefully with the lower crowds next week, we'll have the opportunity. We just couldn't justify allotting so much time to waiting in line for it. What I do want to see is that mirror transformation! I also really love the sign with the candelabra on top that looks like Lumiere!

I have to tell you how much I LOVED your Princess video about how to find Prince Charming. So cute and clever!!

I totally agree about those new princess super snob designs.... definitely not a fan!

Wow Gorgeous photos!

What has been your favorite CL lounge? Just curious, we are looking into staying at a new one. We have been the BC and BW CL.

I'm officially hungry after reading your last update! Those cupcakes do look good, but I'm extremely upset about the cinnamon rolls. That's like a Disney staple! :confused3

I don't think I've ever been in the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. Is it always open? Maybe we'll add that to our list of things to do next time. I honestly forget it's there sometimes...:rolleyes1

Great update! :)

I'm with Athos those pork shanks are tasty! We headed to Magic Kingdom on Saturday for a couple of hours (mistake it was so so busy!) and decided we needed to share one.
Also tried to convince the cast member at the counter that I would get a Le Fou's Brew if I could come back when it was half gone and get more marshmallow topping, she didn't seem to think that was as good of an idea as I did. :rotfl2:

I have nothing against Starbucks, heck I love coffee, but I liked it better the old way. Sniff, miss the french toast loaf.

I love that you can get good coffee at the starbucks (I consider starbucks good coffee contrary to other people's opinions) BUT main street bakery was so good and I had only been there once before! :sad1: I really wanted to try other things but then they closed it down…bummer…At least I got the cinnamon roll when I went.

If they ever changed starring rolls into a starbucks though I'd probably riot because that is my go-to spot for a cupcake!

AHHHhhh, that's such a difficult question! The King Kamehameha club at the Polynesian and the Kilamanjaro club at the Animal Kingdom Lodge are absolutely wonderful - they have such beautiful and unique lounge areas and delicious food. They'll always be two of my favorites...but I do have to say...the Royal Palm at the Grand Floridian really wowed us. I might put that as my number 1, followed very very closely by the Poly and AKL! :thumbsup2

Have you stayed at WL "Old Faithful" CC? Always thought that would be great, especially at Christmas time. Where would that rank?
