2013 ddp?

With the 2013 packages rumored to be coming out July 11, does anyone have any insight into what changes (if any) will be coming to the DDPs?

Normally we hear potential changes coming from the UK Travel Agencies, but they are sometimes wrong as well (they predicted loss of dessert for DDP last year, no mug on QSDP, and 1 snack on QSDP, 1 out of 3 isn't too bad ). (The wrongness is due to information they get from Disney, which isn't very consistent on their proofreading). I haven't heard anything yet this year, but it's also earlier than in the past (they could just be releasing all the info at once).

Now, if they do come out, chances are they'll have the actual entitlements and allotments and some of us will do some math to find out the actual costs (I think I still have my spreadsheet hanging around somewhere).

I remember that last year, and the speculation about the loss of the dessert on the DDP. A lot of people believed that was in fact that was what Disney had intended to do, but with a major amount of backlash they backed off.

The initial brochures came out on the same day the packages were released over the past few years. I'd expect that same trend to follow.

Note that the initial brochures will be missing all (or at least most) of the non-Disney owned restaurants and it will look like a ton dropped off the plan. This is normal for the initial release as those restaurants have not yet signed back up for the next year by press time. They have until the end of the year to sign the new contracts, and Disney simply cannot put them on the list until they have signed.

Planning-wise, this isn't something to worry about. Historically only one restaurant has ever dropped the DDP, and that was Fulton's after the first year. Fulton's has since rejoined the DDP list this year (along with several other new ones). I'd expect any restaurant that takes DDP this year to take it next year as that will be far more likely than the opposite.

My expectations:
Pricing will increase by about 10%. QDSP $41.99 (which was the price of the DDP pretty recently!) DDP -- $59.99 DxDP- $92.99

I'm not expecting any changes to entitlements, but you never know.

Gosh, I am really surprised nothing has been leaked about changes for next year. Nobody has heard anything yet?
