2012 Weddings!!

Another October Bride here!!! We are booked in South Jersey for October 26, 2012 for our wedding and planning our Disneymoon from October 27th to November 4th!!!

Just went and tried on Disney wedding dresses yesterday at the new Alfred Angelo. Can I tell you that when I came out in Tiana the girl on my right was in Cinderella and the girl on my left was in Ariel. Then I came out in another dress and the girl on my right was in Ariel, the girl on my left was still in Ariel and her friend was standing next to her in Ariel. Wanted to try on Ariel but they didn't have it in my size. Oh well. I didn't end up getting a Disney dress, but I plan on getting Sleeping Beauty's bracelet and earings!

Squeeeee! I just booked a week in Disney in August to have a site visit, make deposit, sign LOA...all that good stuff! I am too excited for words!!!!

So we got an email from our consultant and she said that the WP is being renovated the same week we wanted to have our wedding! So we decided to keep the date (July 11th) and go with SBP and Living Seas Salon for our reception. I am actually quite happy with the decision. It forced us to look into other non-traditional options.....I can't wait! Only 16months to go!

Does anyone know which ballrooms are used in the Grand Floridian? I talked to Bill and he said A&B but I looked at them this weekend (I live in Orlando) and they look really small. There was a reception going on in another ballroom that looked HUGE and I would like to use that one. We have a site visit next week so I'm hoping they will give me a little more information on the ballrooms.

We had the same worry. We booked one of the salons ( I think we have Salon 6) which is supposed to hold up to 100 guests, Pam was worried that I wouldn't be able to fill the room and such, but I'd rather be spread out then cramped in.

I just mailed our our contract with Rev. Tim Herring. I am so excited, plus we also phoned Rabbi Lefkowitz and we will be meeting him in october when we go for our planning session. Things are starting to come together!

Welcome to all of the new 2012 brides! Our thread is growing! We were finally able to get contracts for everything, we booked crescent terrace @ the swan for the ceremony with Rev. Tim Herring and a violinist. I'm using beaute speciale for hair & makeup and we're doing a dinner reception @ Il Mulino in the Swan! I'm excited that everything is starting to come together. I'm probably gonna start a PJ when classes are out for the semester. I'm going to Disney in just under 2 weeks for a trip so we can activate our seasonal passes that we bought for the VR. I can't believe that we're so close to the year mark, it felt like it would never come!

Where is everyone else at in their planning? I've read some of your PJs and you ladies sure have your stuff together!

In the next couple weeks I would love to start a PJ. I know it sounds corny but I'm a little nervous b/c I'm horrible with computers haha. Even though my wedding isnt until next May I've already gotten a few things done! I found my Kenneth Pool dress last weekend at Solutions Bridal here in Orlando and I booked Rev Kevin Knox for the ceremony. We have a site visit next Friday and i cannot wait! I am a BIG bling girl so I know I want rhinestones on pretty much everything : I am very much in love with the white/crystal table setup at Franck's. That is EXACTLY what I want. I am scared to see the prices but Im hoping if I downsize the centerpiece I will be able to do it.
