The 2012 Vacation Planner was mailed to members today. Those in attendance at the Annual Meeting yesterday received a copy on exit.
The Point Charts in the 2012 Vacation Planner include only the 2012 charts (which were released in 2010). The 2013 Point Charts are not included in the 2012 Vacation Planner. Announced at the Annual Meeting: the 2013 Point Charts will be mailed to DVC members in February, 2012 and published on the DVC Member website in mid-January.
There is a section (page 7) called:
Use of your Membership for commercial purposes is expressly prohibited. Commercial purpose includes a pattern of rental activity or other occupancy by a Member that the Board of the Condominium Association, in its reasonable discretion, could conclude constitutes a commercial enterprise or practice.
A Member who makes 20 or more reservations across all Memberships, in total, during a 12-month period in the name of persons not on their Membership.
On page 6 there is also a section outlining the definition of a Transfer. Most of the provisions are familiar and have been posted on these forums for years.
One transfer per Use Year per Membership. (This would include all contracts within that Membership.)
Vacation Points retain the Use Year and Home Resort Priority of the contract from which they were transferred.
Unused Transferred Points expire at the end of the Use Year of the Transferring Member.
Transferred Points may be banked according to the banking window of the contract from which they were transferred.
Banked or Borrowed Vacation points, as well as Reservation Points, may not be transferred.
Members are prohibited from receiving compensation for engaging in any transferring of Vacation Points.
