2012 Unofficial Guide Color Companion

The new version is out now.

Congrats to many of the photographers on here that were published in the book again this year - Tom Bricker, Matt Pasant and others.

I was excited to my photo of my daughter in the book again.

Anyone else here have photos that made it in?

I had a photo in the first book on page 112--my kids walking off with Dopey. Not sure if it is in the new edition. I have no expertise (just like to take pictures), so I was shocked when we discovered my pic in the first book. I submitted two and never thought another thing about it. My kids discovered the picture, and they were ecstatic!

I think the new edition is a nice improvement over the first edition. The photos are generally better, and are utilized in ways that make the most of the visual nature of the book. Example:

I'm also told that the paper stock is nicer for this edition, which also improves photo quality. I've only seen a digital proof, so I can't vouch for that.

Overall, I'm VERY impressed with this edition; definitely worth updating if you own the original.

Just knowing the book has some of your pictures makes me want to buy it.

I guess I have to go out and buy it! Thanks to those who contributed pictures and congratulations to those whose pictures are in it.

I have to be honest and say that I recognized some pictures in the first book and I said "Hey I *know* the person who took that picture!" Then I explained why I said that. Well, and that I don't actually *know* them either.... but it was still fun.
