We're going to WDW in Feb 2012 and are trying to cut costs any way we can. We're staying off site so we'll have a rental car but we will be spending the majority of our time at the WDW parks.

So, for one week in Orlando, is it worth it? Are there coupons that are in the Orlando book that I could use anywhere or are they strictly Orlando coupons.

It's selling for about $15 now after ebates and the 30% discount.

Most of the coupons will be for local places. There will be some coupons that can be used anywhere.

Since you're the one who knows where you will be shopping, eating and spending your non-park time, you are the only one who can decide if the Orlando book is for you. Go to entertainment.com and preview the book to see if it has coupons that you will use while you are there.

We have bought one in the past and ended up using not one thing from it. The coupons for mini golf/restaurants etc were far better in the little free booklets you can pick up all over the place. I thought I might be able to use some of the car rental coupons/discounts but again there were far better deals available online.

I have bought several of these over the years, and I have never failed to get my money's worth.

Unless there is a specific coupon(s) you want for Orlando, I would buy one for your local area. You will find several coupons you'll use locally. The nationwide discounts are the same for any Ent book.

You used to get really great Entertainment rates at many hotels, but I have not found this to be the case over the last 3 years. (I have gotten Country Inn Calypso Cay -when it was great- for $45/nt; HOJO Anaheim $49/nt)
