Hi Shannon... I'm going to bullet my post because I feel like there's so much to say and it'll look neater...

*first, I just found your TR this morning and have read all the way through both your 2011 and 2012 runs...

*how amazing that you're doing what my biggest dream is - running and running at Disney!

*I just started the couch to 5K program and my goal/bucket list is to run at Disney. I can't wait! Like you, my Disney obsession started oh um just a few months ago LOL when we (manfriend and I) took our kids for our first semi-blended summer vacation. It was amazing. At about the same time I knew I wanted to start running and when I found RunDisney, well what better combination...

*Thank you, thank you for the detailed report you gave on your experiences. I feel like I ran it with you - although my legs don't hurt LOL... but your details and pics have made me even more determined to get to a Disney race in the next year!

*and finally - what type of camera do you have. I love the look of your pics and am in the process of finding a camera for our upcoming trip.

Hi! Thank you so much for such a nice comment! Running in Disney really is an amazing experience...I hope you get to do it someday!

Congrats on starting C25K! I used that plan when I first started running and really liked it. I hope it's going well for you.

Two cameras...

For the race pictures, I have a little point-and-shoot that I carried with me. It's a Canon SD 1300 IS that I got for a little over $100 and I really like it.

But you're probably talking about the non-race pictures? My other camera is a Canon Rebel XSi. I guess you could say it's an entry-level DSLR? I have a 50mm prime lens that I really like for this camera, and I also use the 18-55mm lens that came with it quite a bit. I am still getting the hang of using it. Canon doesn't make this camera anymore...the newer version is the Rebel T1i but you may be able to find an XSi for cheaper if you look online. I got mine with the 18-55mm lens on Amazon for a decent price.
