Question for BC experts-
We're staying for the first time in April (woot!) and we are wondering about the best way to get into Epcot for rope drop. I've read in other places that by the time you walk from the BC all the way around World Showcase in the morning the lines are already long and you lose the whole 'arrive early' advantage. Thoughts? Is it worth a cab for the one day we want to hit the big attractions? We're excited to be able to walk to and from the BC for afternoon breaks, swimming, and World Showcase adventures, but we do want to hit rope drop once.
Thanks for the thoughts![]()
Are you going during April vacation week or a spring break time when it will be super busy?
Even if you are, I still think you are better off just going through the International Gateway and World Showcase. Sometimes the "rope" for the WS entrance will be dropped a few minutes before the main rope to equalize the slight advantage, but even if it is not, I think we are only talking about 5 minutes.
IMHO, not worth the extra expense, or time or hassle of getting to the front of EPCOT, plus dealing wiht a much bigger crowd of people than you will coming from the other direction.
Now other experts out there who have had recent trips- since the only rope drops I have ever done are the EMH, 8 am entry-
Do they stop you at the turnstiles at IG before the park opens, or are you able to go through the WS and make it to the border of WS/Future World. I have heard both.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences, friends.
