My only resolution is to cook at home at least six nights out of seven. We just booked GF (MK view) for the end of August, and that's going to cost quite a bit, even with 40% off the room.

Trader Joe's is about to be my new second home.

Self---- lose weight! I was dieting and lost 20 pounds but sad to report I have gained it back:sad2: Anyway Jan.2 new diet!:yay:

Also I am secertly going to put $50 away weekly in a bank account for our next trip!:woohoo::woohoo: I will have saved about $1800. by then!:santa: I will use my tips so we will never miss it!;)

So thats mine!:thumbsup2

1) Lose weight and get in shape
2) Start a business or a better hobby
3) Don't drink bad wine

I usually have 3 or 4, but this year I am just going to focus on one. To stop procrastinating. I'm terrible about putting things off and I really want to change that.

I don't bother with the resolutions about weight and smoking anymore. I just can't seem to keep them and they are the same year after year. Does that make it a resolution or simply common sense? Oh, well. I will say my first resolution is to post more on these boards. I read them every day, but rarely post. I feel like I know you all, so why not join in?

To remember that even if I am in pain, not to be a pain.

To raise at least $1,000 for GKTW.

It's a great day to be alive!

Great resolutions, everyone! I especially like the one to stop procrastinating. May adopt that myself. I guess I should work on some goals. This is the first year in maybe 26-28 years that losing weight isn't on there. :thumbsup2 That's really, really cool!

I'd have to say, make a reasonable to-do or goal list each week and not procrastinate on getting it done. I hope to get caught up with scrapbooking, eat right, walk/run so I'm ready for my races, paint a few rooms. That's all i can come up with.

I've been trying to do this as well. We not only eat healthier, but there are often left overs. Woohoo!

We should start a recipe thread.

You amaze me and inspire me.

Absolutely awesome. Congratulations on your accomplishments.:thumbsup2

Make more time for ME. Meaning... Exercise more. Relax more. Say 'no' more. Do more that I enjoy. Feed myself only which gives my body the nutrients it needs. Learn something new every day. Keep my house tidy by following FlyLady. Live.

We should start a recipe thread.

I've been doing a lot of recipe sharing on FB this week. I was actually thinking about our starting a thread tonight. You know the rule though...you just volunteered yourself to start it! :)

My resolution is to lose ~5 lbs. per month in 2011. I'll do this by eating less fast food and working out three times each week. I hope I can keep it up! :)

Absolutely awesome. Congratulations on your accomplishments.:thumbsup2

Thanks!

My life runs smoother when I'm following FlyLady. I've followed off and on for maybe 8 years or more. Good luck!

I have two resolutions for this new year:
1. I will do whatever it takes to get heathier. I am over weight and out of shape and I just won't let myself be this person any longer.
One day and one step at a time & 2011 will be MY year to be the ME I really want to be :)
2. To fill the gas tank on my car "before" the low fuel light comes on

When I was younger (and broke ALL the time) this was how I had gas all the time.

I pretended that my gas take would only hold the quarter of a tank. Once my tank registered 3/4 full....I'd get gas.

This meant I usually had a full tank rather than always driving on fumes.

This was back in the day when I wasnt embarrassed to dig $2.58 from under the seat and get exactly $2.58 worth.

2011 is the year of the great purge in my house. I am determined to get rid of all the crap that hasn't seen the light of day in the 5 years that I have lived in my current house.
