Hello everyone, my name is Val and my husband and our 2 kids are planning OUR FIRST trip to WDW in June 2011. My husband and I both have never been. We are keeping it a surprise from the kids until the last possible second. We had even considered telling them at the airport! I need any help and advice possible while planning this. We are considering the All star movie resort but my brother in law was over tonight and said that Pop Century was better...hmmm, I have no clue!

I just looked at the updated list on the first page I forgot to let you know that we changed our dates sorry about that. DH is having surgery in a couple weeks and have been busy getting everything ready for that, Anyways we are going April 28 to May 13 and we are staying at the pop we will also be celebrating DH and DD's birthday she will be 5 and my hubby says he will be 28 although he will be 37 also we are celebrating Our 5th Ann. with mothers day as well. So i just wanted to let you know. Come on we need some good pins

Yes...Killing me as well! We are, however, having our first official planning meeting tomorrow so finish ironing out the booking details! Looks like we will be a Grand Gathering again with about 12-14 going so far! Yahoo!

Looks like I will be totally depressed when you will be totally excited. I leave POP on 9/13 and you arrive on 9/14.

This link will give you the historical dates of when they've released discounts. The 2011 rates (at rack rate) will come out in August, we're all waiting impatiently! You might see a general public discount for your May time period come out February or March. Also, make sure you go to the Disney World site and register your email, so that you have a chance of getting a discount pin code. (which are elusive, but so nice when they do come!)

Another hoping for this weekend. I'm working Sunday - I work from home and it's very slow on Sundays, but I have to be at my computer, ready to take a call at all times. What this means is.....lots of time to play with the Disney site for rates, etc!!

REALLY hoping for next weekend. We head out of town on 8/14, returning around 8/22 or so and I would really like to have our package booked before we go!!
