2011 Planning - join me!

Hi,

I am planning a disney world family trip for the first week in may 2011. I have two kids at that time they will be 2 and 5.
I plan on staying for 7 days 6 nights at all star movies and getting the premium dining package. I plan on getting the 5 day park hopper pass.

I am not sure how to handle what we will do at the parks for which attraction to hit first.

Any suggestions would be great!

Hi, we're booked for August 2011 (9th - 31st). This will be our 4th trip and we're staying off site in a villa which suits us better than a hotel. (We being myself, DH, DD who will be 10 and DS who will be 7).

Busy counting down the days, planning our itinerary and saving up the money to pay for it all!

I am so happy I found this thread! Will are going August 14-21, 2011. I've been planning for about 2 1/2 months so far and have read every book about WDW at the library. I can't wait until August so I can finally book it and get the new Unofficial Guide for kids. We will be staying at POR in the AB section since it will be me, DH, DS who will be 7, DD who will be 6 & my sister who will be 19. We've just decided to drive from just south of Chicago. Has anyone done this? Any advice?

Yay - my friends were making me feel like a freak for starting to plan our November '11 Disney vacay! I'm NOT alone!!!

Pretty sure these will be the dates of our trip:

Thursday, November 10 - Wednesday, November 16 (although we may just spread that into the weekend - LOL!)

We will be at the Magic Kingdom for DD's 4th birthday on 11-11-11

Yay love this thread! We are in for June 3 - June 12 at Wilderness Lodge hopefully.

DH wants his parents to go with us, so hotel is still up in the air, but he LOVES WL and really wants to be there.

When do they historically let you start booking for the next year. We are going at the end of February for the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon and I would like to get an idea of hotel cost. Really looking forward to the trip as it will either be a all girls trip or a trip for only my husband and I, either way it is going to be adults only this go around.

You can book room only now. I believe the 2011 rates came out Sunday. Now for packages hopefully they will be out in the next few weeks. I am waiiting for those to be released since I know for sure we want a package deal.

Dont they typically come out the first week of August? I couldnt be more excited. We have never been in April! 2nd and 3rd week of April here we come!!
then its the wait for the deals! When we went in 2009 the deals came out in November. But did I see correctly that early year deals came out in Sept last year?

We got back June 30th from our first trip and i've already decided we're going November 2011 for Thanskgiving and my youngest's son's 5th bday waiting for rates!!!

Just checked the first page and I see I haven't let you know our dates for January 2011! We'll be at CBR (for now anyway) from January 6 - 15th! Thanks for the thread and the updates! Way Cool!!!

You can't do it online you will have to call.

I am so looking forward to our trip. I booked us 2/1-2/11 at Bay Lake Tower 1 bedroom. If all the stars align, that won't change.

EDIT: Ooops! We have had a talk today, and are moving it to next September! (boo, but we are opening a new store in 3 weeks, so September may be better.
