2011 Marathon & Discount Park Tickets

I read on AllEars web site that WDW would send runners a link to buy discounted tickets for themselves and family members. Historically, when would this e-mail come out (a week, two weeks, a month beforehand) and do you know if they are truly good prices? I currently have a FD package with three days non-hopper park tickets that I have to pay in full mid-November. Thinking of going 4 days instead - Trying to figure out if I should buy 2 days through package (minimum required) and buy remaining through Marathon link (hoping low and cheaper hopper option). Thanks for any insight you can provide.
