2011 F&W- least crowded?

So looking to start planning for next year's F&W and MNSSHP. I know Columbus day weekend is busy, is there any week during F&W in October that might be the least busy?

Are chances of getting BCV and BWV pretty much zero unless you own there in October? (we own BLT). Just trying to start figuring out which week makes the most sense for us.

For F&W 2010, we were able to book BWV at 7 months (right at 9am). A few days later, we put in a waitlist for BCV. A month or two later, the waitlist for BCV came through. This is for Columbus Day weekend (Wednesday-Sunday) in a studio.

Some report the size of the room makes a difference. I forget if it's the 1BR or the 2BR units are more difficult to get during this time of year.

Thanks good to know! I am hoping we just need a studio, but not sure.

really think you can. BWV is fairly big.

but BCV has the better location - especially for f/w

3rd Thu/Fri of October all schools in MN are closed. Now, how many of those go to Disney and are DVC owners? Who knows.

But, when we've traveled over dates that NY schools are closed we've definitely noticed the increase down in Disney and at DVC. Last Feb., I think 2 of 3 license plates were from NY and lines were almost similar to those during one of our July trips.

Anyway, definitely call at the 7 mos. mark.
