**2011** Epcot Food & Wine Festival HAS ENDED. 2012 Festival 9/28 - 11/11

We just finished it this morning. It has a LOT of information -- over 130 pages -- I hope people like it! :)

Just downloaded it. I'm such a Disney junkie. Anything to get my fix. :rotfl:

Looks like a lot of great tips. This is our first F&W so i'm sure this will be really helpful! Thanks.

I'm so glad you like it! Looking forward to your feedback!

You mean you won't be on the phone at 7am desperately trying to get through with all the rest of us?

Lucky lady! :rotfl:

I've decided I'm trying for one event and that's it! (and I'll be there a total of 15 days - 2 trips.)

There you go rubbing it in again, you know that am jealous. :rotfl:

I am leaving my time open to drink around the world with you in our matching footwear.

Don't forget the matching shirts too. and pins.

For some of us, it's 4AM! :rolleyes1

So you folks are causing me to question which of my events I should try to book first. Which do you think will be the most/least popular? :confused3

Oct. 28 - Regional French Lunch
Oct. 28 - 3D Desserts (Sweet Seats)
Oct. 29 - Taste, Shake and Indulge like the French
Oct. 29 - Cat Cora Signature Dinner

I had an idea this morning, but now I'm starting to question my thinking!

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for all the info! For previous years, I've poured over the schedule for a week and mapped out all the possibilities. This year, we are going for opening weekend, so the choices are a lot more limited... which has actually made planning MUCH easier. The phone time is what threw me. For some reason, I thought the phone lines opened later than that last year, but then I DID make 50 last week, so maybe senility has hit. =P

Dialing fingers ready and three alarm clocks set! ;-)

Oh, I have a question as well. Can someone please share their past experiences with the Opening Reception? We usually attend Party for the Senses every year, so we're certainly up for a party. But, we also really enjoy strolling around the lake and sampling the food at the kiosks. I'm wondering if sampling the kiosk offerings at the Opening Reception might spoil some of the fun during the rest of the weekend.

Thanks for any feedback! -Evey

Saw that the WDW Twitter account (@WaltDisneyWorld) tweeted today that "Reservations open today for Epcot International Food & Wine special events!" and had a momentary moment of panic but the link in the tweet brought me to a page that said reservations open Tuesday. Phew.

So are we going to be able to make reservations online or do we have to do it over the phone? Thanks

I would go for this order:
Cat Cora Signature Dinner
3D Desserts (Sweet Seats)
Regional French Lunch
Taste, Shake, & Indulge like the French

Maybe switching between the Regional French Lunch & Taste Shake Indulge.

Thanks with the modification you mentioned at the end, that matches my "new" thinking. Someone mentioned that anything with a TV Chef will sell out first, before I was thinking she had a lot of dinners so they might not sell out as fast, but then I realized that I want a Saturday night. That might be in big demand.

Only a few more hours until I wake up in the middle of the night. The things we do for food!

Silly Disney!

No sign of online booking, right? If there were, i'm not even sure where it would be.
