Trying to plan a 2011 visit .... Arrive 1/1 through 1/7...

Some Problems:

1. Y&Y Is not listed as a CS option... any news on that?

2. Spirit of Aloha - Luau at Poly: Tues-Sat 5:15/8p ONLY??? Have there never ever been shows on Monday or Sunday? Those were my only date....

3. NEED a TS for MK... Done CRT 20 times and need a new suggestion... Crystal Palace????

4. Roaring Fork - Anyone have reviews, info on this one?

5. Would love to book Wishes Dessert Party. Wishes seems to be at 8p. I suppose I MUST plan another day from Spirit of ALoha.... WHEN do you need to show up for WDP...and IS it worth it?

and finally 6. THe easiest way to get FROM Ft. Wilderness Horseback riding to Animal Kingdom......

A lot of questions... THANK YOU in advance for your help !

Mary

The Roaring Fork is the CS at Wilderness Lodge. This is a cafeteria style place with a small seating area inside as well as tables outside. I have only had Breakfast, which was rather generous protions!

Y&Y is not a Disney owned restaurant so it and many others usually aren't added to the DDP until later in the year.

As for a TS in the MK, we like Crystal Palace for breakfast, Tony's or The Plaza for lunch and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner.

1. Y&Y Is not listed as a CS option... any news on that? I wouldn't worry about it, a lot of DDP restaurants aren't finalized until later, and it will probably be added to the list by the end of the year.

2. Spirit of Aloha - Luau at Poly: Tues-Sat 5:15/8p ONLY??? Have there never ever been shows on Monday or Sunday? Those were my only date....Sorry, it is only on those nights.

3. NEED a TS for MK... Done CRT 20 times and need a new suggestion... Crystal Palace????I've always liked CP for breakfast and lunch, that's my top choice in MK. Have you considered eating at one of the monorail resorts though? I really like Kona Cafe at the Polynesian.

The party starts an hour before Wishes. I think the view was really good, the desserts are mostly good, service was excellant.

6. THe easiest way to get FROM Ft. Wilderness Horseback riding to Animal Kingdom......I think bus is your only option, unless you get a taxi.

Wizard - THANK YOU! Yes - Breakfast would be the meal for Roarin Forks so Good to know that... Big portions would be important if we will need our energy for Horseback riding ! :goodvibes

MSLRAC - Great news... If Y&Y Is still a possibility... then I might just hope to do TWO cs's in AK.... DS & I ate at Y&Y TS last visit and I really liked it... so I hope they add it..:thumbsup2

Disneyfav - Great TIPS! THANK YOU! Especially re: WIshes party... I wasn't even thinking about when it started so it's good to know it's an hour before Wishes begins... MY DD1 LOVES desserts...and I have read good things about this so I'm hoping she and the whole family will enjoy this.....:worship:

I don't know if I'm "Running Early" or "Running late" on my Ressies...but I just heard about 40% off during my dates 12/30-1/6 (WDW is 1/1-1/6) and I can't make reservations for another week due to family issues.... still ironing out..

THANK YOu all for your help... More advice / info is much appreciated :)

Mary
