I don't know whether this has been posted or not, but I've just been on CO site and they are saying that the 2011 DDP will remain unchanged. I know there has been quite a bit of discussion about desserts being removed etc. but I guess that Disney have decided not to mess with it! :thumbsup2

I saw that. Thanks, I don't think it has been posted on the UK board. The Dining Plan Board has a thread with hundreds of posts and heated discussion. Some DISers had contected Disney to let their views be made known and have posted responses from Guest Relations, confirming there will be no change. Now to see what happens with pricing. :rolleyes1

People have also been emailing Disney and received responses stating that it will remain unchanged so *fingers crossed*

I'm still waiting for an official release by Disney though :goodvibes

Not seen that so thanks for posting, we can't decide for next year. More than likely going with Karens Cousin, husband and Daughter(age 3.5) They like the look of OKW rather than offsite but I know dining offsite would suit them better.

I really hope this is true :) Its our first trip and were on the QSDP so if it stays unchanged this will be even better for us :)

I also prefer QSDP so I am as thrilled as you. The QSDP was set, according to the rumour, to take the biggest knock. Disney should shortly be releasing the official details anyway. :)

I wish they made one change, the option to choose either a starter or a dessert, I'm not really a dessert person! :sad2:

Neither am I really. I like desserts, but not WITH a meal - I would be more likely to eat on in between. The original DDP had appetisers, desserts AND tips included. That changed in 2008. I doubt we will see it back. The Deluxe plan now offers both.

Thatd be great as im not a dessert person either.
Theyd never do it as some people would order starters and some would order desserts and share with each other, causing the table turnover times to increase.

I was so pleased when i heard the other day it was to stay the same.
like others i will wait until its official :goodvibes

And you can always ask them for a coffee or some fruit instead. Although I am not one to order dessert with a meal, I am just as unlikely to order a starter WITH a meal - more likely to have one as a meal - and then I can eat dessert too.
