2010 WDW Resort Packages Watch!

Well if history repeats itself, then we should have the 2010 rates this Sunday. Is that what most of you are thinking as well?

I am so keeping my fingers crossed and sending some pixie dust to the web site. We are so anxious to book our June 2010 trip. This will be an 8th grade graduation gift for our DS13 and his BF13. Can't wait.

Ok, just read on Orlandosentinal.com that Disney is raising the ticket prices beginning Sunday. Won't this mean the Resort Packages will soon to follow. Never knew I would be so excited to hear about a price increase.

I'm thinking 2010 rates will come out on Sunday along with the ticket price increases. They probably want people to book 2010 packages at the raised ticket prices.

We are planning a trip for Feb. 1, there will be 14 people(family trip) and we are all having a booking party on Aug. 5 (180 days out) rates or no rates. We have all emailed many times with no response.

What do you all mean by the 2010 "packages"? Sorry, i dont know!! wouldn't the room prices stay the same or are they raising them next year? If someone would enlighten me, i would really appreciate it!

The 2010 room rates haven't been released yet and you can't book a package until they are out. You can call and make a room only reservation, but they will quote you the highest 2009 rack rate. The rate will be adjusted to the correct rate when the 2010 rates are released.

I am waiting too. I want to know the new 2010 room rates before I book the room which I can't wait to do b/c it will feel more official that we are going. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a good deal for early March! Free Dining or 4/3 would be fantastic!

The 2010 rates are out right now. If there is going to be any discounts, they will usually come out in fall.

The packages and new dining plan rates are out as of sometime last night. No increase on the DxDDP, a strange new seasonal pricing structure for the basic DDP, and the usual small price increase on the QSDP.

"The Walt Disney World Resorts have released full details of packages available for guests visiting the Central Florida attraction next year. Packages have seen some changes, including price and benefit additions. Let us take a look at what a vacation to Disney in 2010 would look like.

Disney’s Magic You Way plus the Quick Service Dining Plan

Starting today you can book your 2010 vacation and add the Quick Service Dining Plan. Prices vary and remember package prices per day go down the longer you are staying at Walt Disney World.

This package includes accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort for one to 14 nights, Magic Your Way Tickets for the duration of your stay, two quick service meals per guest, per night, two snacks per guest, per night and a refillable drink mug per person, which can be refilled at the resort you are staying at during your trip.

Cost for this package is less than $32 per adult and $10 per child per night of your stay.

Disney’s Magic Your Way plus the Dining Plan

For a cost of $42-$47 for adults and $12-$13 per child, per night (depending upon time of year) you can add the Dining Plan to your Magic Your Way Disney vacation. Your trip will include accommodations for one to 14 nights at a Walt Disney World Resort, Magic Your Way Ticket for the duration of your stay, one table service meal per guest, per night, one quick service meal per guest, per night and one snack per guest, per night.

Disney’s Magic Your Way plus the Deluxe Dining Plan

For less than $70 per adult and $20 per child, per night you can add the Deluxe Dining Plan to your 2010 Walt Disney World Magic Your Way vacation package. Included in this package are accommodations for one to 14 nights at a Walt Disney World Resort, Magic Your Way Ticket for duration of your stay, refillable drink mug for each guest, three meal entitlements (either quick service or table service) per guest per night and two snacks per guest per night.

Table service meals include an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage, or a full buffet. Quick service meals include entree or entree combo, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage."

I called to book a package yesterday morning and the CM I spoke with said they weren't updated yet on the computer but to give her my number and she'd call back as soon as she could book me. And guess what! She did this morning!!!!

We're there from 1/31 - 2/7 with MYW+Hopper and DDP. She told me to keep my eyes open in November for a discount

I cannot wait!!!!

Congratulations. I booked ours yesterday on line at 4:30 and received my confirmation email within minutes. Received another confirmation email this morning. Now it's official for both of us. Happy Planning.
