2010 Points Question

Just looking over my 2010 points statement and it says I have:

Total Annual Allotment of Vacation Points 120
Total Vacation Points Remaining 0
Total Vacation Points Available to Borrow 0


Then for 2011 it says
Total Annual Allotment of Vacation Points 120
Total Vacation Points Remaining 120
Total Vacation Points Available to Borrow 120

I have a June use year. I have not used any points for 2010... especially since I can't use them yet. I could only borrow from 2009. So why are there zeros in 2010, but the points are reflected in 2011?

What does 2008 & 2009 say? I had an incident last year where they accidentally borrowed my 2009 points when I had plenty of 2008 left.

I have 20 points left for 09 since I did borrow them for an August trip.

I have an August 09 res. that took 120 pts from 08 plus 35 from 09 for a total of 155. Then I have a res. for May of 09, that brought in 65 points from my 09 use year. That is it.

Is it possible they'll show up after I pay mousefees?

Literally there's no way I could pull 2010 points yet since my use year is June. Right now I can only borrow from 2009 until June, at which time I could borrow from 2010.

Not true. If you booked a trip for June 2009 or after, you could have borrowed 2010 points. All points use is based on date of stay, not date of reservation.

Here is all my activity, I see nothing listed for 2010. Of course, I look at it and my eyes glaze over.

What does the activity statement say for June 2010 to May 2011? If there's no points left, there has to be some activity there.

It says nothing about activity during that time. What I copy and pasted was all that showed up on the activity screen.

You need to call member services tomorrow and ask them what happened to your 2010 points.

You state you bought the resale contract in August of 08. Maybe the previous owner somehow already used the 2010 points.

I finally got through to Member Services and the official explanation is it was a "technicality in the system". I should see my 2010 points restored in the next few weeks.

When he first answered he asked if I was sure I hadn't used the points. I told him that as far as I knew I hadn't and my points activity page also didn't reflect any activity with 2010 points. I was put on hold for quite some time but then he came back and mentioned the technicality. I didn't press him as to what the technicality was, but I sure hope everyone checks to make sure they have all their points. I could see where if you got to 2010 and there were no points it would be very difficult to figure out what had happened.

As for the previous owner stripping the 2010 points, I'm not sure that would have been possible since all 08 and all 09 points were available to me. Plus, there was nothing about the 2010 points being stripped when I purchased them from **********.

I don't think that could have happened because 2010 points could not be used for a stay before 6/1/09 and all existing reservations are cancelled when a contract are sold. So the points would have showed up somewhere.
