2010 point chart changes

Recieved our 2009 planer, tucked quietly away in the back folder is the 2010 point charts, there are point changes on many resorts that affect sunday thru thursday, and friday,saturday usage, since joining in 1995 this is the first change which has affected our usage, we own two resorts which we have (until next year) magic season 11 month home resort booking for boardwalk, and old key west for seven consecutive nights at each resort, next year we will be short two points for each resort, i knew that dvc reserves the right to realocate points so long as the over all total does not change, FYI when you start your vacation planning for 2010 there has been point changes to be considered.

There has been much discussion over this. Check out this thread with more than 2,600 posts on the topic.

The worst part is that the changes they made this year represent the maximum changes they were able to make according to the rules. This has led to much speculation that there'll be additional shifts in points from weekends to weekdays in the 2011 charts, too.
