Hello Everyone!

Disney started selling their new 2010 sailings today for the Med, Baltic, and Transatlantic. Was wondering if anyone booked.

I booked the 14 night Transatlantic Westbound. Hoping some others did as well. The price was great compared to the other sailings.

Robb,

What were the prices?

We are thinking about booking this one (assuming it is not all sold out) while onboard in 10 days!

Thanks!

Hi Jenn-

It looks like now for a Cat. 11 no air, insurance, or transfers it is $ 2,345.46 for two people. Up some from this morning, but still a good deal for a 14 night cruise for two!

Hope you are able to go!

Robb - Why do you even bother to get off the boat? :rotfl:

Wally my boy, you will find out how GREAT the cruises are next month! You should book it! We will have a great time!

We are looking at cruising in 2010 along with a trip to DL. I don't believe the itineraries for 2010 are going to work for us to be able to do a Disney cruise, but NCL looks good to us, so that will most likely be our substitute.

Hey Robb,

My hubby and i booked the last 10-day Med and the 14 day WB TransAtlantic. So we'll see you aboard the TransAtlantic. You shoudl head over to the cruise meets board and introduce yourself there, too. There are at least two other male couples we know going on that trip, too....and a bunch of our very queer-friendly friends, too, will be aboard traveling with their families!

Hi Erik (& Jason too)!

Glad to see that I will have some "family" onboard! I will head on over to the meets thread to check it out.

Hopefully we can get together on the ship to say hello!

Thanks for posting that you are going!

This is my 6th cruise and our 5th together. We're big DCL junkies and try to take a trip every year or 16 months or so. We did the Eastbound TransAtlantic last year, just did the Sept. 27 Double Dip a few weeks ago and we're booked on a 4night on the Wonder next May.

Well, at least we have one hobby in common! I am a DCL junkie as well. I was on the Panama cruise in August, on the Westbound TA cruise last year, and have a four night in November booked. I have been on a bunch more as well, but those were the highlights. I try and go whenever I can even if it is just a 3 or 4 night, I need my fix!
I was hoping to to the Baltic and the 10 night New Year's cruise, but the prices were a little much for me.

This TA Cruise was a steal!

Welcome aboard Robb. I think our family qualifies as some of the "queer friendly friends" Erik is talking about (I ahd to come see hwat he was possting about over here). I haven't posted on the meet thread yet either but am about to. The transatlantic was so much fun last year I am sure you will have a wonderful time:)

Marc and I also booked the westbound TA. Definitely looking forward to it.

Oh, I want to book the WB TA sooooo bad! But I really would like to get the 10% discount and $200 credit that is offered when you book onboard. I will be on that ship next week (:scared1: ) and I so hope there are some rooms available... Even if we just get GTY that will be fine b/c we know there will be some cancellations at the 90 day mark...

Someone posted about a Cat 6 for a little over $5000... that is only $1000 more than we are paying for our Cat 6 on our upcoming DD....

With the 10% discount from booking onboard your Cat 6 will probably be under that.....ours was. We had dummy dates we booked on our last cruise earlier this month and we moved those ressies to the WB so we could get the 10% discount and the $200 stateroom credit. I am pretty sure that there will be rooms available when you try to book in a couple weeks. The repo has a lot of buzz but there are a lot of people who are leary because of how long it is and the time of year b/c it conflicts with school, etc.

We'll cross our fingrs for you that you get onboard----and have a great time on your cruise coming up!

We had planned our 2010 vacation for 5 nights in England (4 in London, 1 in Eastbourne); 4 nights in Paris, and 2 nights at Disneyland Paris.

The new cruise itineraries really complicates matters.

The Norhtern European Cruise is VERY tempting. Specifically the chance to visit Russia. St. Petersberg is supposed to be an amazing city. Plus it would allow us to visit Germany, Finland, Norway . . . .

Argh! We don't know what we want to do!

Hmmmm

This would give me three years to pay this off.

But 14 days is a long time to be on a ship....

How many days is the Northern European cruise?

Rumor has it that there may be an over-night excursion to Moscow on the St. Pete stop.

Honestly, it's just the possibility of visiting Russia that has us considering it. Well that and the calls in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Germany. But for me Russia is the real draw.

On the other hand, I've never been to London and I LOVED Paris.

ARGH! This is going to drive me crazy!

Thanks! :thumbsup2 I can't wait :jumping1: I will be at the booking desk before my husband makes it onto the ship.... :goodvibes :lmao:

This seems like a pretty easy predicament to me... (of course, it is not my American Express on the chopping block...) Fly on over, enjoy your already planned land tour of Europe than sail home on the WB TA....

Oh! wait, that doesn't work.... The WB TA doesn't go to Russia... UGH! :headache: Sorry... thought I was helping.... :upsidedow
