My son just turned 10 and is not a big eater so we weren't going to do DDP this time (we are there in March). Will all restaurant prices be raised at that time or is it just buffets?
We've booked restaurants for every night are we silly not to go with DDP?
If your son isn't a big eater, is he not going to eat at the table serv. restaurants? Just ordering appetizer? If he's going to order off the adult menu anyway, then yes, your making a big mistake not getting the DDP. Otherwise, you'd have to do some math and figure out what's the better way to go.

When I took my niece 3 years ago, she was very picky. She was 12 so I had to pay adult price for her DDP. We did alot of character meals so it was worth it in comparison. However, if I had to do it again I would book just 1 character meal and go mostly counter service. All she would eat was chicken tenders & mac n' cheese.
I left that door open a crack only because this two-tiered DDP pricing is brand new. I HOPE that the DVC folks have accurate information, but will be a lot more confident after the peak season rates are implemented (for non-members) in February.
