2009 Thanksgiving or Xmas week???

We're bringing 1st time visitors and budget is definitely a factor. Which week would you recommend?


Seems like there may be better deals during thanksgiving time, but then again black out periods apply during both time frames!! GRRRR....

Am considering Annual Pass for discounts, but I assume black out time would apply there too.

I am wondering this also. Right now we are booked for last week of Sept. with free dining but I am already feeling too guilty about pulling the kids our of school. I think a vacation week would do better for them and my peace of mind.
Right now leaning towards turkey week. Would love lots of opinions...

We went Thanksgiving several years ago and it was fine until the day before Thanksgiving - then the crowds were very large. The Christmas decorations were up on the weekend after, though, so that was nice!

I believe the prices are a bit lower than Christmas and I've heard crowds can be unbearable at that time. I've heard the week before is nice.
