2009 rates

When can I expect 2009 rates to be released on the WDW website? I am trying to plan a large extended family vacation. My bil is not a Disney fan. In fact he thinks I am beyond obsessed!!!! (I know all of you find that very hard to believe )My family would prefer staying at WL but my bil thinks it is too expensive when compared to POP. My DH and I are thinking of paying the difference so we can all be at the same hotel. But before we commit we want to figure out how much it will cost and what would be the least expensive time to go. We are debating between May and December. I know you can all relate when I say that I would prefer May as December 2009 seems WAAAYYYYY too far off!!! So please give me your best guess as to when I can expect to see 2009 hotel rates on the WDW website.

The last two or three years, the rates have been released August 15th or so.

If you want to get an idea of the costs, you can go to the Disney website and see what the 2008 prices would be. I think our total 10/9 night package at the CBR with 8 day park tickets and the dining plan went up about $300.00 for the three of us (3 adults).

Since you can't get the May prices, you can still get an estimate of the price. Get your approximate dates of your stay and then look at the Disney website to see what category/season they fall in (value season, regular season, etc.). Then find some 2008 dates that fall in that same category/season. This way, you can plug in those dates on the Disney website and get an estimate of your total costs.
