2009 prices

Does anyone have any idea when Disney release their accomodation prices for 2009(July)? Same for Universal/Loews.

Looking to add a couple of nights in the Contemporary to a DVC trip next year.

disney will release the rates sometime this summer, probably around August. If you want to make a room only reservation for 2009 you can do that now by calling disney, can't use the web site to do it until the rates are released.

would just take the rack rate and up it by 10% - it shouldn't be that high - but it gives you an estimate. (disney is generally 5% to 8% increase each year)

Was actually on the phone today with member services, and they said they will probably release rates sometime in July. I was able to book for 2009 with points.

Wow! I like your CM better! I just got off the phone (no pin or code attached to my name ) and my CM told me they would release the 2009 rates around Sept.! Isn't it funny how no two CM say or do the same thing? maybe the DVC has more info?

I was charged $410 (includes tax) for a standard Wilderness Lodge room in value season ! This year the rate was $250 plus tax for value and 275 for regular!!!! Had me confused.

GSDRESCUER - do you think you'll pay $410? We'd like to go for a few days next March, but this is a little high for me. March is peak time. I'll really have to talk myself into this if I have to pay more than $350/night. Am I living in the dark ages and not keeping abreast of prices (retired now)?

No, I don't think it will be that high for a Standard room during value and regular season. The prices haven't gone up THAT much every year!

Peak season is high.
