Hello All:
I found the 2008 thread last year too late, but I saved it for this year.

I just purchased my daughters first elf from Elf Magic and am very excited. She will be 4 in January, so I think this will be a great year to start the tradition.

For all of you that don't know what I am talking about....I bumped last years thread for you to get a look.

My plan - we will be at WDW from Dec 4th to the 13th.

I purchased the santa footprint kit from Elf Magic and will have someone place the footprints while we are away on the carpet and lead them to her elf. When we comes home we can say Santa's been at our house. (heck, Tink visits her room while we are in Disney every night - why not Santa at home).

I don't think I am going to use the "he is reporting back to Santa every night if you have been good or bad" Just me - I absolutely can't stand it when I hear a parent at the holidays make the Santa threat. I am just going to have fun with it.

I think I will make the elf a little "bed" from a shoe box so my daughter can tuck the elf in every night. Then take care of the mischief while she is asleep. She will wake up to find the elf in the middle of its mess.

I have 12 nights to plan.....looking forward to it!!!!

Thanks for the reminder. I want to order our Elf a sister to visit with him this year. We did the Santa report last year and it was a lot to keep up with. Our Elf had a journal that he wrote to Santa in and the kids could ask the elf things and he would leave an answer for them. That was fun. This year I think they will only get a message from Santa if they were really bad or really good. Always nice to throw in some positive reinforcement. Our kids had a blast with our elf last year.

Happy Elfing!

I discovered this thread late last year, So I begged and borrowed some small stuffed elves (not the official one, but I find him creepy anyways) and did about 10 nights of elf mischief. We loved it, my son was 2 at the time. We will set up the tree on the 21st of November, so we will have approximately one month of magic and mischeif to set up. We also do not do the fairy dust thing, hate messy things, so the magic of Christmas simply brings them to life to report back to Santa and then get into trouble. I cant wait for this year, Cameron is three, and so into everything now, so much fun. Anyone want to provide a running list of mischief for elves to get into.
