?? 2008 WDW Inline Marathon canceled ??

That's the rumon on an in-line racing board. Does anyone here know anything about it?

It was on Disney's site as 5/4/08 with a link until this week and then it just disappeared.

That's usually a bad sign.

I've been looking forward to this for years.

The event is still listed, but there is no place to click to register. This sucks.

It was removed from this page http://disneyworldsports.disney.go.com/dwws/en_US/endurance/listing?name=EnduranceEventListingPage2 after being put up in May and being listed on this page for 3 months. With Disney, this probably means nothing. Most others if a race is listed with an 08 date, and is than removed, that would mean it was Dead. Disney still can't figure what's up with the Minnie. Even get a map for a sold out race 2 months away(ToT)

Our goal and focus is always to provide fresher, newer endurance events that will create a great experience for our competitors and guests, and we feel strongly that our series of endurance events for 2008 will provide competitors and guests with the best possible experience and athletic challenge.
