2008 Snack Question

Does anyone know if they are going to stick to "their" list of snacks for the 2008 Plan? Now, I know we got smoothies and donuts and even fries for snack credits. Disney seems to be more specific for next year. Do you think they will be more limited. Cuz if they are, that will decide whether we do the deluxe plan or just the regular plan. Anyone know?

I'm curious about this. We booked free dining for next sept. with the bounceback offer, but we're still on the fence about next year's vacation. Its hard to pass up free food (and of course Disney ), but a lot of the fun of that "free" food is the appetizers, included tip and the great variety of snacks. If they take away the fun snacks too, it may not be worth it.

Technically those "fun" snacks aren't listed on this year's ddp either. The 07 language is
Frozen Ice-Cream Novelty, Popsicle or Fruit Bar,
Popcorn Scoop (single serving box),Single Piece of Whole Fruit, Single serving Bag of Snacks, 20 oz. Bottle of Coke®, Diet Coke®, Sprite® or 20 oz. Dasani® Water, Medium Fountain Soft Drink, 12 oz Coffee, Hot Chocolate, or Hot Tea, Single serving Prepackaged Milk or Juice
Plus it tells you to look for the DDP signage.

The 08 brochure is exactly the same. There is no guarantee even this year that anything other than those items listed in the brochure or items that specfically have the purple sign next to them will be considered a snack credit. Some people are still getting boxes of donuts, while other people are denied the same item. The $4 and under current practice isn't really a disney rule. Personally, this year or next year, I wouldn't expect to get anything other than the stuff in the brochure or the DDP signage items.
