Are the 2008 resort prices already in the computer when you price out a vacation at disneyworld.com? I am trying to look at prices for May 2008. Here is what I am getting so far:

Poly GV- $399
WL woodsview bunkbeds- $320
POR standard view- $165 weeknight $175 weekend

All of these prices are before tax. I was really hoping to go deluxe this time around, but boy even though we can afford those prices I am not sure I am willing to pay them. Now I am just hoping those are the actual 2008 prices and they are not going to go up even more.

Much thanks!:daisy:

Yep, they have the 2008 prices up on the web-site. It should also show you the price per day, because different days of the week can cost different amounts.

When would you be going? Our May 29 through June 7, 2008 standard view room at the WL was $275.00. I was told a woods view would only be $15.00 more.

Oops, went back and looked at your post more thoroughly after posting. It does cost more for the bunk beds. My quote was for two queens.

I am renting DVC points for next May, staying at the Beach Club Villas for about $143 per night for a studio, Sunday - Friday. You might want to check out the rent/trade board. Much cheaper option to stay at a deluxe resort. The weekend nights require more points and in turn cost much more. We'll either see what we can get with our AP discount or move to the Hard Rock Hotel for the weekend. There is no tax on points and you can add tickets and/or the dining plan if you wish and pay at the resort when you check in. Oh yea, we are traveling May 25th - 31st, Memorial Day week.

Wow, you can add the tickets or the dining plan when you reach the resorts? Is that just at the villas or can you do that at the hotels as well? I'm just wondering if I end up booking through expedia/travelocity if I can add the dining plan once I arrive to check in. Does it work that way?

That is a great question. I am wondering if anyone knows the answer.:confused3

It is my understanding that you cannot add the dining plan unless you book a package. You cannot add it once you check in. I believe you must book a MYW package with at least a one day ticket and dining, in order to get it!

I have NO knowledge as to what G's mommy is referring too........ this is possibly for DVC ONLY if you rent points. I do not
think it is applicable to anyone else who is NOT staying DVC.
