I guess I was pretty lucky. I called right at 5AM(PST) & was only on hold for 30 min. The booking took another 15 min. (The system went down while the agent was on the phone w/ me.) We got assigned staterooms.

2 adults in each stateroom
cat 6
w/ insurance & transfers, but no air
$7,233.48 (our stateroom w/ 10% onboard booking discount)
$7,909.48 (friends' stateroom w/o the discount)

then the website started giving me extreme problems . . .

The second cabin is for my MIL - it originally brought up the price as $5,800 (ish) but then it wouldn't let me choose a cabin number. After a few tries, it gave me an error message. When I tried again, of course the price had jumped $600

I saw the $600 price jump while checking prices in 3 open windows. I was able to finish booking at the lower price because that window was searching for a room. Now I went back online to check current prices, the quote is at the same lower price I got, not $600 more

Well, I can at least be happy for you .

I ended up having to get a Cat. 6 guaranty room for her.

I wanted a Cat 3 but couldn't get through the phone lines...
booked a Cat 4 room and was going to be next door to Roy as it was offered and then it was gone! So, we are farther down the hall as we were given a stateroom.

Wow....congrats to all who got it!

I finally had a break at work to be able to log on and looked for the Eastbound repo....right now for two adults and two kids, it's running at $10K for a Cat9 w/out fees, airfare, etc....that's too far above my comfort zone to book. Right now it's only showing me at Cat 4, 6 or 9 available so there must have been quite a flurry of booking.
