Well the girls were off to school today We had an awesome last weekend with 2 big parties, food, swimming, fireworks, and friends. It was a great send off for the new school year. I did get my arm slammed in my FIL's escalade though. Luckily my arm is not broken but pretty badly bruised

Are your girls off to school and college today? Everybody excited???

John and I went to lunch at Panera Bread to celebrate Yum

Can't wait to see how everyone is when they come off the bus

Wow homework on the first day, I'd be mad too My girls all brought homework home for me... tons of forms and paperwork to fill out
They all had good first days and love their teachers. So far so good
We are having a mini heatwave the next few days with temps in the 90's. None of the girls schools have air conditioning either Okay well I am off to do

I forgot to mention that we've sorted out our holiday for next year, I booked it all last week. We're stopping 8 nights at the Caribbean Beach Resort with the free Disney Dining Plan (16th/24th Aug), then we've got our Cruise and then when we get off, we have 2 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel - we're so excited as we've never stayed at CBR or HRH before

The Free Disney Dining Plan didn't include the value resorts for us UK'ers, so we thought as we were going to be there anyway, we'd give the dining a try too

Roll on next Summer !!!

They offered free dining already??? How did I miss that?? Can you believe we've never taken the girls to DW????? Well actually the oldest went to magic kingdom once when she was 1. My dh works for Anheuser Busch so when we go to Florida we always go to Sea World, Busch Gardens, and the water park because it's free. We wanted to wait until the girls were a little older to go to DW and then got hooked on the Disney Cruise. I want to add a trip to DW around the cruise next year too. Free dining would be awesome.

Yes, the free dining plan has been opened with UK travel agents for the next month or so. I've heard rumours that people staying at WDW at the moment are being offered a 'Bounceback' rate for next year too (there's lots of info on the Resort & Restaurant forums). How cool that your hubby works for Anheuser Busch, will he be able to get into Aquatica too when it opens next year ? We haven't been to SeaWorld for years now, not since it all changed. We've never been on Kraken and we've only started to enjoy Rollercoasters in the last few years, so we must give it try

Have you got any plans for the weekend ? The girls have got a couple of friends sleeping over tonight and I think tomorrow night Paul & I are off to a 25th wedding anniversary party

We had a back to school BBQ last night, sydney is at a B'day party at Libby Lu, and later we are going to watch my niece cheer at a football game. No really big plans for the rest of the weekend. The girls are all tired from getting up early all week. Me too

Well, it's 5.15pm here and we're watching England v USA in the Rugby World cup, it's currently 3-3 after 15 mins and this is the only time I won't be supporting the USA though I wish them luck against the other teams

How was your weekend? Everybody ready for the first full week of school? The girls got their first homework today so reality is setting in....

Yesterday was a miserable rainy day so we spent the day watching football. About 10 straight hours of it, but who's counting

The girls went with my sister to see Cirque de soleiel(sp?) though and had an awesome time!!!

We had a lovely weekend thanks, we went to a 25th Wedding Anniversary party, which went well

I can't believe that the girls have only been back to school nearly a week, it's amazing how quick you get back into a routine. Becky is complaining as she's been given quite a bit of homework, and Kerry's only had one piece

Are you starting to get into planning mode for Christmas yet ? or is it too early for you ? If I had my way I'd be planning Christmas all year, cos I love it and no doubt I'll be driving you mad with a Christmas countdown

I LOVE Christmas time. We have a big party on Christmas Eve every year, but I have to admit I am horrible about planning ahead. I'm more of a "run around with your head cut off like a chicken at the last minute" kind of girl. I actually bought a couple of presents today, I'm starting to focus of Christmas more now, and I want to have all my present shopping finished by the end of November. I love it when the shops start getting all their gift sets, cards and wrapping paper in
