If you're planning to be at WDW on marathon weekend and are interested in booking into a group block of rooms for slightly better rates, please post here. I've included the info on room blocks...they list 3 resorts as examples, but any resort can have the block or it can be divided among different resorts. Only 10 rooms are needed for a block! One person would need to be the contract person who would be responsible if anyone didn't pay.
DISNEY RESORT ACCOMMODATIONS
Rates quoted are for 2007 arrivals, and are based on Standard Category rooms. Accommodations and rates will vary according to actual travel dates, category and availability at the time of request.
We currently have availability for 15 rooms per night at the following resort for the dates of January 4- 9, 2007:
DISNEY'S ALL-STAR RESORTS - Giant icons from the world of Sports, Music and Movies pop-up everywhere
ROOM RATES $76.00 + 13% tax per room, per night.
Rooms accommodate a maximum of four (4) guests in two (2) double beds.
DISNEY'S CARIBBEAN BEACH, PORT ORLEANS AND CORONADO SPRINGS RESORTS - Island-style villages or classic Southern hospitality, or Architecture and culture of Mexico and the American Southwest, plus fantasy playgrounds & pools
ROOM RATES $126.00 + 11.5% tax per room, per night.
Rooms accommodate a maximum of four (4) guests in two (2) double beds.
DISNEY'S WILDERNESS LODGE - Luxurious reflection of the famous National Park lodges of Americas Northwest
ROOM RATES $194.00 + 11.5% tax per room, per night.
Rooms accommodate a maximum of four (4) guests in two (2) queen beds.
DISNEY GROUP BOOKING GUIDELINES
· Group Requirement - A group consists of Ten (10) rooms or more on at least one night of the stay at a Disney Resort to be considered a Disney Group.
· Room Rates - Rates will vary depending on travel dates, resort requested and group room availability.
· Deposit for Call-In group - For group reservations, we require a signed contract and credit card guarantee for deposit to be received by us within seven (7) days of the contract date. Then you will be given the phone number for our Group Reservations department, which you can forward to your guests to call-in their individual reservations. Each guest is responsible for the deposit amount equal to one (1) night room and tax for each room requested which is due at the time of booking.
· Full Cancellation - Up until forty-five (45) days prior to arrival you may cancel your entire group without charge. After this date, the group will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to ninety percent (90%) of the total rooms in the room block, multiplied by the nightly room rate for the rooms (plus taxes) for each of the unused room nights that are not resold.
· Partial Cancellation and Attrition - Up until forty-five (45) days prior to arrival, the group may drop individual room nights from the original room block without penalty, provided that the group keeps at least ten (10) rooms on at least one (1) night. After this date, the group will be subject to an attrition charge equal to ninety percent (90%) of the nightly room rate, plus taxes, for each of the unused room nights that are dropped and not resold.
Disney will attempt to resell any room nights released by you by placing them back into Disneys unsold inventory of room nights. We will attempt to sell them after all other available rooms are sold, and the group will be charged only for the unsold room nights.
