Hi,
Just wonder what you all thought about the price we have been quoted for 8th June next year ( Travel city direct). Two weeks in a 5 bed-roomed villa at Calabay Parc, 4 adults 5 Kids, 12 seater mini-van hire (+ insurance) for £5081.

I am kind of worried that if we book this before the rest of the 2007 prices have been released we may find it a lot cheaper elsewhere, and vice versa if we leave it and it's a good price and it then goes up and we miss out. :confused3 :confused3

Cheers
Linda

before you commit yourself to tcd why dont you have a look on the internet and price it all individually you may find it works out cheaper.
worth looking around first!!

Hi
Thanks for the reply :thumbsup2

I have looked at pricing it seperately but, the problem that I am finding is that the 2007 flights (apart from Virgin) aren't out yet...or at least I can't find them!! When I priced flights with TCD they worked out nearly the same price as we have been quoted for whole package.

Is it cheaper doing it seperately? ( money is a big factor this year :sad2: ) I have only ever done a package to Florida. Also, this is the first time that we have looked into staying in a villa :woohoo:

Any help in finding a good price would be appreciated
Thanks
Linda

That price seems reasonable - I dont think you'll get it much cheaper.

hiya thats the same price we are paying with tcd this year, for 4 adults 4 childrens,

with insurance and an 8 seater van only our villa is a 5 bed executive and is aoa
and includes 4 adult 1 child unlimited disney tickets

next year though theres just two of us and we're staying at pop, its costing 1200 each but it does include sunshine first full size car and insrance

I' m finding that prices for holidays seem to have risen steeply from last year, not just Florida, but on all sorts of european/african holiday flights too (Greece, Turkey, Egypt etc.).
Our Feb 2006 Fly Drive with TCD has gone up £100p.p. for same time next year.

- though I know fuel prices have their part to play, good flight prices to anywhere, from my usual stock of cheap websites, have been almost non existant.

I'm hanging on , just hoping its a bad time to book, as lots of people are starting to think about holidays this time of year. :confused3

Cosmos have a a brochure out too up to Oct 07. They have animal kingdom lodge on the internet for £1100ish not bad price until you hit the supplements for 2 adults £461 each.

- that's exactly why we end up booking everything separate...British TAs always seem to hammer you for the kids !!

We never fail to save £300 - £400 per week by booking our own flights accommodation and transfers (and usually end up with a car for the week in that price) and we only have 2 kids ! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

got prices from TCD for 2 weeks next August. As well as the full package price (4 bed villa + 2 cars) we also got the price for Fly drive and just flights from them. I habve already shopped around to get quotes for villas and cars. It works out £600 cheaper for to do it all seperately. Admittedly the flights are a bit more expensive with TCD when we arent booking them as part of a package but we are saving quite a bit on the villa and cars so it works out cheaper. We haven't booked it yet - going to be doing it next week!!!

If you want to get a rough idea of the prices, then get quotes online for the same weeks this year and then add on 10% to be on the safe side = this will give you a rough price.
