2007 - Most Over-Rated Disney Restaurant?

No one else said this but for me it is 50's Prime Time, our food was not good at all and the server only came to fill our drinks.

I hate to say it but this was the first year I left CA Grille unimpressed. Of course, the view is phenomenal, the service was great, the wine was yummy (although totally overpriced) but the food was just eh. My fish was kind of plain and my husband's steak was melt-in-your-mouth good but the whole dish was rather uninspired. We'll probably skip it in 2008!

Can I ask why Le Cell was overrated? Sounds like it might be a bit cramped, for one.

I've never been there but I'm taking my wife there in a few weeks. We like steak. It has the second highest approval rating of any WDW restaurant in the Unofficial Guide (behind V&A's) so I thought it was a good bet. Maybe not?

Jiko

The first time I ate there I thought maybe it was just what I had ordered, so I gave it a second chance, only to have average food and slow - unattentive service, but I'm going to eat there a third time just in case third time's the charm.

I love Le Cellier! I must eat there every trip. Don't cancel your ADR just because other people don't like it so much. Everyone has different opinions, like some hate Ohana's, I love it, some love Jiko, I really don't get what's so great about it, (see PP.) You must eat there yourself and form your own opinions. :)

I know the voting has closed, but for me this trip it was Artist Point. I've heard my parents and sister rave about the food there, but I found it just so-so. I mean, it was ok, but there wasn't a lot to choose from for me. I'm not overly picky but due to allergies and dislikes I could eat none of the appetizers. I did have a bit of a choice with entrees, and the desert was fantastic. But given my choice, I'll pick somewhere else next time.

I agree, please don't change. We love LeCellier! Everyone's opinions are just that. If the menu looks good to you by all means don't let anything change your mind!!!!!

Ohana dinner was the worst meal of our trip. Ohana Lilo & Stitch had o.k. food, but the absolute worst service of any restaurant ever. :sad2:

The voting may be over, but I'd like to throw in Boma. Don't get what the big deal is all about. Glad I went if for no other reason but getting to see the resort, but I could've lived a completely full and rewarding life without ever eating at the great, much balliehooed Boma :worship:

Oh don't worry, I'm keeping Le Cell.

I'll post my own report when we return. Looking forward to it. We're arriving at MCO around 9 am, and I have a lunch ressie for 1:40 at Le Cell the same day, so it will be a good kickoff to our trip, I hope.

Toss-up between Cali Grill and Boma breakfast. CG has a fantastic location, but the food was eh. Edible but not impressive.

Boma breakfast - the food was fine (Tusker House was much, much better), but jockeying around the long line for the omelets made it difficult to refill our plates. Why don't they rethink this traffic pattern?? We do love Boma's dinner buffet, though.

Enjoy it! Personally I loved LeCellier and particularly the cheese soup. Of course that was a few years ago, so who knows. :confused3 We thought the food and ambiance was great though.

California Grill.
Real attitude from waitress (guess it was because we were not ordering
a bottle of wine)...too much noise....very disappointing.

We were unimpressed with Kona Cafe, but we only went for breakfast. With so many wonderful places to go, we won't be rushing back there anytime soon.

For us it was Boma. Not terrible but we all agreed once was enough and have no desire to eat there again.
