2007 banked points?

Hi - I'm hoping someone can explain this. When I look through resale listings I see some with 2007 banked points. How can someone still have 2007 banked points? I thought if you banked points, it had to be used in the next year.

It depends on your UY. We have a December UY for one of our contracts.

We received 2007 points on Dec. 1 2007. Those points are good to use until November 30, 2008. If I banked the points they are good until November 30, 2009.

So, yes it is possible to find a contract with 2007 UY points. They are only useful if they have been banked.

As of now these Use Year's are still in their 2008 UY :
August (until 7/31), September (until 8/31), October (until 9/30) and December (until 11/30) so could still have banked 2007 Use Year points available.
