2006 Summer Sanitarium Tour

According to my relaxed and easy going agenda, we were to be at the bus stop at 8:00AM. We had an ADR at Crystal Palace that morning. The night before, just as two nights ago, GP asked what time they needed to be ready. The first night he though I was joking.:confused3 What, do these people want to sleep in? Five hours of sleep is plenty! Doesn't everyone have Disney adrenaline? Disnaline?

About 7:15 that morning, I went to get Felony from their room, and GP told me that he and Grandma needed to take the morning off. No big deal. But just in case you are keeping track, this is now an extra 3TS.

I went back to our room to hurry up my crew. At 7:54 AM, I knocked on the pass through door, and when MIL opened it, I saw.......:scared1:

Geesh, I started reading this report a gazillion years ago and finally caught up. Had to go way back to September to jog my memory.

And Now you leave us hanging yet again....

Great job on the report though!

WHAT!!!??? What did you SEE? :scared1: Girlfriend, you gotta hurry and spill the beans! Did she have a facial mask on? Were they still in BED? Smoking in a non smoking room??? Were they eating cake for breakfast? Did they check out?

Your Cliff Hangers are TORTURE to me!

What?!??! Saw what?!?!?!? OOOH....A CLIFFHANGER!!

Don't make me wait!!! The suspense is KILLING me!!!:yay:

Alright, I won't keep you waiting any longer.....

When MIL opened the door, I saw a lump in the bed. :furious: MIL trips all over her words: "I was just about to wake him up because Whiner just finished."

SO, I quickly started thinking.....:scratchin We could take who is ready and tell everyone else to meet us there. No, that won't work, what if BIL decides to sleep in and we get stuck watching his kids all day. But then it hit me  Here's our chance to sneak out :tiptoe: and lose them for the day!   Alrighty, SEE YA! We're heading to the MK, don't want to miss our ADR, it's at 8:30, make it if you can........

NICE! I love the way you think!!!:thumbsup2

I'm glad to see you finally getting wise to your family's sucking the joy out of this vacation for you. You go girl! :woohoo:

My dearest Peeps: BIL :smokin: is here today helping P9 put up some sheetrock in the garage. He came in a few minutes ago and asked what was up with the 40% off packages. I said ( in Cartman's mom's voice..I think it was Cartman's mom), WHAT, WHAT, WHAT? How do you know about that? He said he got a postcard in the mail. HOW THE (insert your favorite explicative) DID YOU GET A PIN CODE?:furious: He also said that everytime he talks to his children, they ask if he will take them to Disney again this summer. Ok, the good part is that his children want to spend time with him. Who wouldn't be happy as heck about that? The bad part is he wants to know when free dining is again. The tricky part is that if we want to take advantage of his 40% off code (I know not to be used with free dining) then we will have another family trip. :crazy2: Could there be a 2007 Summer Sanitarium Tour? :upsidedow

It's Kyle's Mom dear... remember the South Park Christmas song? " Kyle's mom is a big fat (oh well guess I shouldn't finish the lyric). "

DON'T PANIC

Now, did ya'll think that it was going to be that easy to lose them?

We arrived at MK and went straight to CP to check in. And then we wait, and wait, and wait. Of course this allowed MIL time to catch up to us....Thanks CP. :sad1: We did have an enjoyable breakfast, and we were at two different tables. This morning did turn out to be rather nice, especially when I put Whiner in timeout. He decided to poke his sister in the face with a pinestraw needle. While that usually would only deserve a stern look, it did leave a mark, and this was Whiner afterall! I sent him to sit with his daddy in the smoking area. What does his dad do? Sends him back! So I again send him to his dad and made a break for it! BIL said something about a kid shouldn't be in the smoking area. Hey, NEWSFLASH: stop smoking! This just boils my blood. He thinks his parenting duties can just be put on hold when he needs his fix. This little incident just made me hot and tired, so we looked around in the judges tent and then decided it was time for a nap and a swim.

Up next: Do I even need to tease you???

Perfect! You totally would have been stuck babysitting!

I can SEE you saying that too. All sweet and with a tinge of "ha-HA!" in your voice. Did you and Sirius high -five each other just outside the door, or did you wait till you were out of ear-shot????

How's that for a title?

That afternoon went as follows:

Grandparents- rested, ready for the evening. They went out shopping that morning and bought tons of snacks (not sure why :confused3 )

BIL- took his kids to the pool

DH- rested a bit then took our kids to the pool

Me- slept

MIL- went to Wal-mart, but was mad cause I wouldn't go with her.

Before parting ways, we decided what time everyone was to be ready to go the the bus stop. Sounds simple? Yeah, right!

:lmao: I totally just read this as "They went out that morning and bought tons of snakes..." and got very, very concerned abut what's coming up! :lmao:

Why is it that this is always so complicated? Whenever there are more than 2 adults involved, it always seems to me like it is a complex series of negotiations and evaluations of how long each person things something is going to take. Like my mother who said that she and her husband only needed a half an hour in the morning to get ready. :lmao: Or maybe that isn't what you are talking about. I guess I'll have to wait and see. :)
