2006 Summer Sanitarium Tour

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: I love you s'late!

OMG, what a sight! :scared1:

I do! But. I wear body-colord undies with them. And carry stain wipes with which to remove Mickey bar drips.

Oh, but they do! Sorry s'late - mind of I hijack for a mo? This is funny...
So I went to WDW for an overnight with a friend some years back and the next mroning she found that she'd forgotten to pack undies. She tried going wihtout, but it was cool and she was wearing jeans - :scared:. NOT comfy. She made it through breakfast and to DTD before she couldn't take it anymore and we started the search for undies. World of Disney had 'em! But not in adult sizes. She wound up with a pack of girls' Day of the Week Tink undies, a pair of which she put on in the dressing room!

So she was truly going commando!

I had those undies when I was about 5. And some from Sax 5th Avenue that said Sax Fannies on the bum.

After narrowly dodging a potential for endless questions, we rejoined the boys outside. I was running on empty and just wanted to leave AK. Daneice, Whiner, BIL and MIL wanted to go on the Safari, so I came up with a billiant idea. Hey, why don't we split up? Yes, this was my chance to run, and run fast! I let MIL make the decision s I wouldn't look like the bad guy...and she fell for it! :cool2: Sirius took BIL to get FP's for the Safari (cause he wasn't capable of finding it on his own). We bid a quick farewell; hollered "don't be late to 1900 Park Faire," and hightailed it outta there! Adieu, adieu to you and you and you! Doo da doo do do do do do...you know the song, sing amongst yourselves. :rolleyes1

We pause at the entrance to AK to catch our breath and had a realization. Uh, what do we do now? We had about 2 hours before our ADR so not really time to sleep, or swim, or go to DTD. I know, we'll check out AKL! It is a really cool resort, and if they ever become user friendly for a party of 5, we may stay there one day. But for now, I'm not willing to part with the $$$$ for the Kilamjaro Suite, or whatever it's called.

Soon it was time to head over the GF for our ADR. We arrived with a few minutes to spare, so we had time for some quality CM stalking. We found another unsuspected CM with a freshly stocked lanyard....full of lime green pins. I got the Mad Hatter Hat, the lime green Monsters Inc guy in a bunny suit, and Peter Pan's hat I think. Anyhow, time to go, and as directed, the GP's are there and had already checked us in. Our table was ready, but where's the other 4?

I know what you mean. My hubby's dream is to stay at AKL one day, but we are also a party of 5. So we would need the suite or two rooms. Oh, well. Maybe someday...

Denise

I KNEW IT!

Where are the other 4 indeed!

Sorry, S'late another quick hijack. Once we went to Vegas for the weekend and I forgot undies. We were staying at Caesars, so I went down the uber expensive shops and bought 2 pair for $46 each! :rotfl: DH nearly fainted when we saw the charge! :faint:

Goodbyeeeeee!
:rotfl: My kids and I love that commercial!
Our table was ready, but where's the other 4?

Let me guess, they went on the Safari, where Whiner decided he needed another up close and personal view of the crocs. BIL had to rescue poor little Whiner, causing the Safari ride to come to a complete hault and they were all hauled off to WDW jail, where they had to spend the remainder of the night. :confused3 I'm close, right? Is that where the police report comes in? :surfweb:

$46? I think I'd have to find some fig leaves!

Hey I was singing Sound of Music with Julie Andrews AKA Mary Poppins :rotfl2: I can't get away from her can I :rotfl2:

Where are the other 4, come on don't leave us in suspense :rotfl2:

I was referring to the Sound of Music. Was I the only one forced to watch that movie over and over? And My Fair Lady to...the rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain.

Oh I remember that commercial for the year end clearance. Was it Saturn?

Now, about that movie..... I thought all children were tortured with "those" movies: Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof. What? :scared1: You mean I was unjustly tortured? I'm gonna need some serious therapy! That's it, I'm calling Daddy! Next you're gonna tell me that you don't know all the words to every Neil Diamond and Marty Robbins songs?

Who's Marty Robbins??? :confused3 We weren't tortured with classics. We were tortured with Horror flick and horror books. My mother read us "It's Alive" one summer when I was like 5 or 6. I also remember seeing the movie "Carrie" when I was very young. Talk about therapy! My father did torture us with Jazz music. :confused3

For the record, me blood is yet again bubbling. Sirius called his mother to find out where they were. She said they were getting ready to get on a bus, which in MIL's language translates to: they were in line for another ride. Bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble...... I checked with the all important cause I have a clip board check in lady, and told her it would be awhile before the others arrived. All I got was an "ok." A few minutes later..like 20 MIL calls to say that a bus just drove up....right, ok. Still waiting, and waiting. Sirius calls her again and they are on the way. A good 45 minutes after our ADR time, they show up. Again, lid blowing off the pot. MIL said she didn't know that the bus was going to make so many stops. Well, that's why you should have been at the bus stop at 4:00!!! Luckily, it wasn't particularly busy at 1900 this evening, so our tables had been just sitting there waiting for us. It's a good thing! And a good thing we had separate tables so I could pout. Our meal and experience was nice. The food was good, and the characters were great, especially Suzi and Perla. :thumbsup2

Afterwards, my 5 headed back to P o p Century :rolleyes1 while MIL, BIL and kids went to DTD. We needed to go back to Pop for some reason. To get an ID or something to get a 10% discount. BIL wanted to get some more pins and we told him we could get the 10% at DTD. Once back at the hotel, we debated on just staying and giving BIL the $5 he would save. I wished I had listened to my gut.

Out in the west Texas town of El Paso :rolleyes1

My dad was into a lot of Westerns too.

Okay, I'll admit that I grew up with the Sound of Music LP and knew all the songs looong before I ever saw the movie! Still one of my all-time faves. Oh, and my DS loves it, too. But I fast forward the couple of times someone says "Heil Hitler" in it - you just know that's the sort of thing a 5 year old will pick up and run with.
Confession: I've never seen the Sound of Music. :guilty:
:scared1: Next thing you'll tell me you've never seen "Singing in the Rain"! "Oklahoma"? "Guys & Dolls"?? Classics, I tell ya! :thumbsup2
