2006 Point Charts

Have 2006 point charts been released? I still haven't received my 2005 planner...has everyone else?

The 2006 charts for the DVC resorts are in the 2005-2006 planner. I've had mine for quite some time.

It has DVC-Resort charts through 2054. Charts are based on actual calendar holiday dates and use an algorithm to calculate Disney adjustments based on the holidays. (If you compare Disney past charts, you'll see they have been consistent in their annual point adjustments around holidays since first starting in 1992. There are only two annual changes: 1: November, Wed-Thur-Fri for Thanksgiving follow the actual Thanksgiving dates which vary year to year, 2: Easter, the points change to premier season beginning one week before Easter and continuing through the end of Easter week, thus the points vary according to the actual date for Easter each year. There are no other adjustments of seasons for any other dates during the year.)

So if you're not going around Easter or Thanksgiving, you can just use a 2005 chart to get the actual month dates for 2006, or 2007, etc. For example, at the WDW resorts, August 1-15 is always Magic Season, while August 16 - 31 is always Dream Season. Of course the weekend/weekdays will change from year to year, but the actual calendar dates remain within the same Disney Season year to year.
