Guys, a couple of quick questions:

For those of you on last year's cruise, were there still a lot of kids despite it being during school?
Historically, both the last two cruises were lightly attended by kids. This is a great thing for them, the counselor to kids ratio goes Waaaay up.
What's the latest with Palo and Spa reservations? Can they be made in advance now?
Yes. You make them thru the DCL website either at 90 ot 75 day depending on some things I can't rememebr right this minute.
How do I pacify my college age children who feel abandoned because this will be our second cruise next fall - both w/o kids? :rotfl:
Just go. You won't remember them after the first few minutes... :rotfl2:

Stephanie - did you call the 800 number? Try 407-566-3800. Sounds like you can get through faster on that number. Am I right, other Disboarders?

If you're on hold at any point, including dead air after hitting 3, stay on you are in the waiting queue already.

I've got both on hold now leeleelew. I'm not sure there is an organized queue. I got through at 8:57 on the 800 line and I'm still on hold.

And to dispel a myth about DCL cruises too, it's not like going to WDW with kids everywhere, they have whole sections of the ship just for them, you don't see much of them at all, except around the kids pool or dinner.

The progression is:

- get thru hit 3.
- dead air
- one recording reminding what you need to have ready.
- ringing
- second and final hold with music interrupted every few minutes by someone talking abut the email newsletter.
- talk to a person.

Oh, I know Mark, thanks. I was just curious. This will be our fifth cruise and two of them were without kids. We were hardly aware of any other children on the cruise.

Good luck and pixie dust :wizard: to everyone on hold or still trying to get through. Have to get ready for my celebration lunch with Tom. Annmarie

What a great start to the day!

We were on the phone with MS for about 20 min, making the RSVP. We on the phone a total 1.5 hours. Not too bad!
We got room 2112. :confused3 Near the elevators, hoping it won't be too noisy. Anyone stay near there before?
We ar e so excited!! :cheer2:

We are in 6562. I am so excited and so are my girls. They will be 7 and 9 when we cruise. I added the logo in my sig

We are confirmed! We actually got on pretty quick -- calling from California. It took the drama out of 2005 Member Cruise when we finally got through they were sold out and we were on wait list but made it on board. Got on at 6:05 and started reservations at 6:20 (CA time). Looking foward to the Member Cruise. Anxious to find out who Jim Lewis and Ted Watson have in store for us. DVC if you are reading these posts, Roy Disney would be excellent. Hi Mark and Mary and Amy too.
