We're the last week of March too! We'll be staying at VWL March 26-31, we'll check into some as yet to be decided hotel on the 31st, (hoping DD can get us a CM discount :) ), then we'll be staying with my sister and her family at the Fairfield Bonnet Creek April 1-3. Maybe we can get together sometime. It would be great if my husband, Ken, could meet Gary before the cruise. That way he would have a connection to this awesome group!

Mary, that sounds like a good plan.

Ken & Gary can meet and chat.

And, we can giggle about Captain Henry like we did during the life boat drills. I still chuckle thinking of that moment. :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm so glad you were standing there, because no one else would have understood my laughter! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I don't know why, but all of a sudden, I'm not receiving notifications when there are new posts here. So, I guess I'll just have to check manually.

I was MIA yesterday and when I checked my emails, I had notifications of PM's that were not there. :confused3 :confused3

So, anyone who might have sent me one, I didn't get it. :confused3 Just didn't think I was ignoring anyone. I have no clue who/what they were -- probably those ones that I get from Pete sometimes that make my stomach flip thinking I was in trouble (I'm sure you all get the same ones -- the major announcements).

Subscribing and unsubscribing? I'll have to try that. I haven't received reply notification emails in a long time. Not a bad thing with the # of posts to this thread.

So, we're taking a last minute trip to Disney this weekend. I couldn't find any DVC resorts to stay at (but I knew that I wouldn't considering the time of year), so we're staying at the Yacht Club for one night. I'm trying to decide if we want to go to MVMCP on Sunday night.

Amy, have fun!!! :cool1:

I tried to talk my dh into going to Disney this weekend or next because Spirit has airfare for $42 each way. He almost said yes but then remembered how much we are hopefully going to spend on Sat for the cruise.

Amy have a great time. Think of us while you are there.

We love Spriit Airlines. No frills, but awesome rates.

In fact, on the way home from the SSMC05, we ran into Gail (#1mouse) and John in the airport. They were flying home to Michigan on Spriit. We were flying home to IL on Spriit. Our gates were right next to each other. :cool1:

We are not going...... I kept wavering, and for us, it just doesnt seem worth it. Most of the extra DVC stuff DH and I couldnt really enjoy with the kids so small, plus I dont want to sweat potty training ds... so we are going with out original plan of a 7 day in late 2007. Kids will be older and that means more time for DH and I to be alone. THAT is priceless....

Have a great cruise.... have a great year chatting.... I'm bummed.

Laura, sorry you won't be joining us.

I'm certain there will be another member event in the future which will work out better for you and your family. :wizard:

A 7 day!! :cool1: Good for you!

No, I'll be around for chat. We're just going Sunday & Monday, coming home Monday afternoon/evening.

I'll be in chat too, but I am first going to a Creative Memories open house. Maybe I can enlist a little help from Gary in closing up daycare Friday night so I can get out of here a bit early (Garfield, did you read that?? ;) ). I know he's planning on picking Walker & my daycare child up from school at 3 so I know he'll be home in time.

Then maybe I can be back in time to join chat at 8.

Well that's great.....not that there's a problem, that it's not just Amy and me!

Sorry you aren't going to join us, Laura. It was harder cruising with little ones than I had thought it would be. I'm just figuring mine are going to be another year older than this year, so it might be better for us!

So, DH just called a little bit ago and asked if I can find a babysitter tomorrow night. We only have 1 girl who watches my girls, and I tried and she's not available. Well, he is the United Way person for his area and because they met all their goals, the company and UW gave him 2 floor seats to the Aerosmith/Lenny Kravitz concert tomorrow night!! Since I couldn't get the sitter my friend and I are going to go it's her bday, and now I don't have to buy her a gift!! :cool1: :rotfl2: :cool1: DH said he didn't mind not going, neither one of us are big fans, it's just when someone gives you $250 in concert tickets, how can you say no? Now I need to find an outfit to wear to the concert!

Diana, have fun!! I'm not much of a concert goer and haven't been to one in years (I won't even tell you all the last concert I went to and when -- I'll definately be dating myself!!).

I've got 52 posts before my 2000th. Think I can plan it good enough for my 2000th post to be the one that tells everyone I made it on the cruise? :flower:

Go, Diana, go!!!

This sounds like a good plan. :cool1:

That was a big oops!
I forgot about that.
Let me apologize in advance to those that got the cd and play that clip in front of there children. Sorry about the s word!

Jeff thinks it's hysterical that it made it onto the compilation cd. :rotfl2:

I didn't catch that either!! I'll have to go back and listen.

We received ours in yesterday's mail -- thanks Amy & Chris!! Awesome job!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I wasn't feeling that great last night, so I didn't get to go through all the pictures. But I most certainly will. And, now I know to turn on the volume! ;)

The problem with Spirit is that they stopped flying out of Tampa. However, we have been known to drive over to Orlando to fly out of there for a REALLY good fare.

I know what you mean. If it weren't for my nieces, we'd never be able to travel as much as we do. Amy even takes over my clients while I'm gone. She's a great kid! :flower: After my brother, Dave, died in 2003 :sad1: , we took in most of their cats, as well. Now the kids don't have to worry about their cats, and we get free pet sitting. We're taking Dave's three "kids" (25, 22, & 19) down to WDW in May. It's partly to pay them back for the pet sitting, but mostly because they've not had much out-and-out fun in their lives. It should be a blast!!! :jumping1:

I'm so sorry about Blitzen. :sad1: It's never easy to lose a member of the family, no matter the species. He's in good company with my rabbits up in Bunny Heaven. :cloud9:

Karen

It sounds like you are an awesome aunt and uncle. The kids are lucky to have you.

Gary's brother passed away 2 years ago, leaving 11, 13, 15 & 19 years olds. It was really tough. His brother was in the process of getting a divorce and the kids were living with their dad and didn't want to live with their mom. They do now and I often wonder just how they are doing as we no longer have any contact with them.

Your neices/nephews are lucky! :wizard:

I am so jealous!! I made a list for Bruce of all the CM stuff I want for Christmas. It was basically the entire catalog!

If you want a laugh, ask Cameron about the one and only time we flew into Tampa.

No problems with Spirit, but it was an aweful experience!!!

Boy, oh boy, Cindy!! You're really catching up for yesterday!! I'm glad to see that you're feeling better, and that you got your SSMC05 DVD of pictures.

My CM consultant does a wish list service. She helped Gary buy things last Christmas just based on a little bit I told Gary that I was looking for. Package came all wrapped and everything.

Maybe you should give Bruce her number.

I think that you told me about it once before. Not fun, but don't let that ruin your thoughts of the Tampa area. It really is a great place!!!
