Diana,

In which shop did you get the car thingies that are in your sig? Karen and I saw them at MGM but they were out of the wife one... I want to get her a set with GUY, GAL and three cats.

They were in the big World of Disney store.

Ryan says thanks for the congrats!!:)

We found out the color of her dress.(black)
So ,I changed the minni roses to white and red with black ribbon ,crystals and pearls sprays. Does that sound ok? (Oh forgot to tell you this is for the arm)

BTW I didn't mention it last night but count me in for Julie's celebration. I don't drink but that doesn't mean I don't like a good party!
Me, too. :)

So I ran around town today like a chicken with my head cut off! I had to get a cake for Julia. Rule #1--Do NOT take a 3 and 2 year old into a bakery full of cakes and cookies. :sad2: Bad idea. So I spent $11 more dollars than I should have and left with a cake, box of cookies and 2 mouse pastries that were just too cute at $3 a pop. I'll have to take pictures because they are just adorable.

Then I went to the Disney Store--lots of bargains out there folks. 25% off the lowest clearance price. I was able to snag a Mickey denim jacket for me for $22. It has a painted Mickey on the back and Mickey Mouse in red rhinestones on the front. Of course the girls got shirts and socks too. Just way too cute!!

Welcome back Gail and John! Looks like you have just enough time to unpack, wash everything, pack again and head out the door! :rotfl:

I also want to say something about the tags. Karen was very subtly tagged and I missed it. I just want to ackowledge my beloved, and the person who got me started on the Dis. She may be quiet here in cyberspace now - but not in real life. I'm guessing that without her my life would come to a crashing halt. She keeps me organized and on time. She is the voice of reason and levelheadedness (is that a word? - who cares I'm being schmucky) in the family. So I just wanted to stop and share a moment to give a type out to my partner. :lovestruc
Karen - be very careful! He must be looking for something (if you know what I mean)! :rotfl2:

Diana - Perhaps we could come up with a location, we can have this added to the Navigator that Mary is working on! That way anyone that wants to attend will know the date and those that don't can avoid the location! :rotfl2:

That's too cute! My girls are never dating so they won't have the opportunity to be nervous! :rotfl2:

So for those of you following my Wendy's saga....I just received a telephone call from the lady at the Albany County Health Dept. :thumbsup2 First I'm going to say I'm super impressed that first of all she took the time out to call me, but she also went to the raw chicken Wendys and did a full inspection today and called me with the findings. :scared: First off she starts out by saying the manager is very young and is on the job not even 1 month. She commented that she was going to contact the owner because that's not an acceptable timeframe for someone to be left alone and be responsible and not checked up on. He was completely clueless about fryer temps and monitoring them and logging them. He was also completely clueless about the fact that b/c Wendy's offers 2 chicken sandwiches, they are different chickens pucks and take different times to cook, the Spicy Chicken being thicker and requiring more fry time. :teacher: She went on to tell me a bunch of different things about staff knowledge (the fact they didn't know much of anything) and more food prep concerns. She said she left a huge list of things they need to change in order to meet the required health department rules and will be doing weekly follow up visits to make sure the changes are being made.

I'm really impressed with the Health Dept. I'm still never eating at Wendy's again, but I'm impressed that they took my complaint as seriously as they did, sent someone out exactly a week from my incident and is making them change the way they operate. She explained to me that she relies on people reporting things like this because then she can go into the places she knows are problems and bust them. :rotfl2:

I'm still completely UNimpressed with Wendy's because they have not contacted me about my letter at all. I did not include my telephone number in the letter, just my address and email address yet the Health Dept person got my number and called me when her investigation was complete.

So what time can we say is safe for after late dinner and the show 9:30/10pm? I have no clue where to meet because last cruise I didn't visit fun social spots at all! Someone else pick a place.....don't put me in charge of everything!!

The cruise is still a surprise and they won't know until Sunday morning when we're driving there!
Wow, that's going to be some surprise! How have you managed to keep it this long? :earseek:

Is anyone going to MNSSHP before the cruise? I would like to have the t-shirt from the party to wear to the party. We are going on the 26th which seems to be when most people are going.
We're going on the 16th. Sadly we'll be home by the time the party starts on the 26th. :(

Chris - the flowers sound beautiful!

Bachlorette party - how many people are we up to? What are we looking to do?

If you want to dance, listen to the band etc. I suggest Wavebands. Downside is that it can get loud. So great for dancing, not so great for talking.

If you want something a little quieter, and a little more classic then I suggest the Cadillac lounge. It is the piano bar. Much more intimate. It would be easier to talk but other patrons might be a little upset if we get too loud.

If you want something a little decadant and everyone is up for a small charge what about the Rainforest room in the vista spa from 9-10 (when it closes). I've known someone who has brought his own mammosa's in there. :)

If you want something more casual where we can all laugh and have a good time what about meeting up by the adult pool on deck 9. There are tables we can put together. I think the bar stays open pretty late there or someone could bring a bottle of champagne and some glasses.

Ok this is usually one of the times when to posts begin to really lag. Everybody is either heading to work (east timezoners) just waking up and getting out the door (central timezoners) or not even thinking about the Dis yet (Roxanne & the rest of the left zoners).

Don't I wish! I was up at 5:30 am.

My vote is the pool. We can be loud and rowdy if we want....and then we can meet our significant others (or not) and head to the clubs from there?

Congrats to Ryan!:cheer2:

Have fun Chris! Don't spy ALL night!

I love volunteering at DD's school. I was there today and helped with school pictures. I get free pictures for volunteering!:goodvibes
