BTW -- :surfweb: Good Morning Everyone!!

OK GUYS - Listen up! NO (new) ILNESSES OR INJURIES TODAY! We just wreaked havoc on ourselves yesterday. Everybody take your vitamin C (or other supplements, as you see fit), drive safely and get back home in one piece. Remeber we are (approx) 54 days 4 hours 3 minutes & 29 seconds away from one BEAST :chewy: of a party.

Hope everyone has a GREAT Tuesday... (come on work with me here guys!!)

Ever the optimist,

Ever the optimist,

Not that you are counting or anything. :lmao:

But remember too we are only 53 days away from the first DIS meet on Saturday. Hey lets get the party started early!

:rolleyes1 Uh no, NO (you want it in nanoseconds - I've got that too)

Gotta love google:

54 days 4 hours 3 minutes 29 seconds = 4.680209 × 1015 nanoseconds :earseek::lmao:

oops....that 1015 is SUPPOSED to be 10 to the 15th....an exponent. Guess the DIS doesn't do higher math. :lmao:

GREAT GOOGLIE MOOGLIE!!!

I think the expression on Mickey's face at the bottom of the fish extender says it all!!!!

Ahhh, but it was fun!!! Some of those magnets came from my mysterious DIS friends. Each day it seemed like new magnets were getting added. And, SO many people left us messages on our white board.

I just realized that I need to make Madison a new magnet this year. Last year, she was too young to have a favorite character, so I just did her name with Flounder. But, now she's infatuated with Tinker Bell, so I'll have to make her a Tink magnet with her name.

Isn't it fun? We had a few appear on our door as well. We also had some notes left on our flip flop note pad.

Last year we didn't have a fish extender but we do for this cruise. :thumbsup2

Wow, you guys have been chatty!! I stayed up late last night to watch Andre Agassi play in what might have been his last tournament match. He won though, so he lives to play again!

Cindy...prayers for your mom.

Cheryl...hope your tests give you answers

Chris...prayers for a speedy recovery

Okay, so it's not really an illness, but yesterday I went and worked out with weights for the first time in my life! The gym teacher at the school across the street from my house is also a personal trainer, and to maintain her certification, she gives classes after school in the gym. She charges $2/session, but then she donates the money to the American Cancer Society. Now that my shoulder is feeling better, I decided to give it a try. Today my upper back is so sore!! It's not to the point where I can't function, but I can tell that I used muscles that don't ordinarily get used! I went to Curves this morning and told one of the ladies there about how sore I am. She works at a rehab hospital, and she said I should take a bath in epsom salts and alcohol. I asked her if I should put the alcohol in the tub or in my body! :drinking1 She said both wouldn't hurt!! :lmao: :lmao:

I'm starting to take after you, sis! I've been avoiding my mess since I got home Sunday night! My suitcases are still packed and sitting in the garage. I only took out some of the stuff I bought for the girls. And the coolest stickers I bought for the back of the car!

I took the girls to Chuck E Cheese for Emma's birthday and we met some friends there to celebrate. All in all, Emma had a great day. Last night I showed her all her birthday wishes here on the thread. She said, Happy Birthday to me?? Yup, they all say Happy Birthday Emma. She was thrilled!

I talked to my Grandfather yesterday. He lives on one of those barrier islands in Palm Beach. He had spent the day preparing for Ernesto and was just sitting and waiting. He got hit pretty hard twice last year because he also has a vacation home up in Vero. It was funny to hear him say, it's only going to be 70mph winds, that's a piece of cake to us now.

Here's a couple of pics of my new stickers:

I'm home again today. I have a temperature again! I went to work yesterday, plannng ot only work a half day but didn't leave until 4pm. I am wiped out today. I'm going to log into my work computer soon but thought I'd check in here first.

Cheryl and Chris - pixiedust: I hope you feel better soon!

Mary - Enjoy your trip to CA! I hope to get back out there one day. I was there in 2001 for a sales conference but Tom has never been so we need to plan a trip!

Gail - I hope you get your house in order before the party. I find it amusing that your DD doesn't care that the craft room is smaller than her existing bedroom. Also, the kid's bathroom sounds nice. Don't forget to take pictures.

Amy - thanks for posting the picture of your door. It brings back such wonderful memories!

Does nyone have the information for the person who does the fish extenders? I need to get one.

:rotfl2: Mary - I'd drink the alcohol rather than soaking in it. I think that should relax the muscles too! lol

Yeah, Mary!! :cheer2: Stick with the weights and it will stop hurting. When I first started taking this weight class I do, I thought I was never going to move my arms again. We did a lot of chest work laying down on our backs with 25 lbs of weight. By the time I got home, I couldn't even lift my arms up over my head to take off my shirt. But now my muscles are used to the weight and it's my favorite class because I don't have to run or get out of breath! :lmao:

Thanks Diana. You made me :) I'll stick with it. The next class is on Thursday. The only thing my Doctor told me not to do is lift over my head, so I have to have a little help with the one session where you put the barbell across the back of your shoulders. I couldn't believe how I'd worked up a sweat when I was done!

Okay, all this talk of organization has motivated me to clean out my filing cabinet. I know there are still papers in there from when the girls were in high school, and Dana's starting her Junior year in college! The only bad thing is the filing cabinet is in the same room as the 'puter, so I'm sure I'll get distracted and pop in here again! :wave2:

Roxann--We are in on the shuttle. I will send you an email too. It just seems so much easier to do it that way. Plus since its our first cruise we dont want to look like newbies we will just follow the crowd :teeth:

OK. Here's my mini trip report!

We got in Thursday morning about 10am and made it over to the BW by 11:30 thanks to Magical Express. Miraculously, our room was ready. 4th floor studio right above the Brew Pub, not too far of a walk and awesome view. We headed over to Beaches and Cream for lunch. (that's #1 for those of you keeping track. ;) ) Then we walked over to Epcot to visit my favorite friend Figment, and ride Soarin. We went back to the room to make sure our luggage found it's way and then went back to Epcot so chicken me can right Mission Space. And I did---and I loved it!! I even think I'd be able to handle the spinny version because I didn't think the green team was intense at all. Test Track was closed b/c of the rain, so we hit the Living Seas and Soarin again, we ate dinner at Seasons in the Land before walking around WS before Illuminations. Walking back, we went to ESPN for some drinks.

Friday we had to pack up and move over to the YC. I was sad to leave BW. We stopped at the bakery for croissants and then hit AK. Everest was awesome, we rode 2 times!! It was hot and very crowded, so we only went on Kali River Rapids and Dinosaur before stopping at Flame Tree BBQ for lunch. We then went on to DTD, but b/c we were taking the bus, we went to SSR instead. There was a giant storm coming so we walked through Artist's Palette where I got to meet Connie! Then through to spa so i can grab my favorite maple sugar scrub. We had a snack at Earl of Sandwich while I called Dining for the 4th time trying to get any sort of ressie for dinner that night. They were finally able to get me into Whispering Canyon Cafe at 8:40. So we went back to YC, checked in, went to SAB for a while and then headed over to WCC. On the way back we were able to see the Water Pageant and I'm almost positive I saw the boat we will be on for the Wishes cruise in October! They looked like they were having so much fun!!

Saturday was our scrapbooking day. I got up and wanted to hit Extra MAgic morning at MGM so I was out the door by 7:30. They were giving tickets to Mickey's Magic Show, so I snagged one and the show was awesome! By 11:00 the park was packed and hot, so I went back to YC and decided to join the group and scrapbook---but first--I needed lunch. Beaches and Cream it is!! (#2) So I scrapbooked from about 1-5 and I had a class to go to until 7. After class we headed over to the MK for Spectro and Wishes. As always, I stood there on Main Street wiping the tears from my eyes, looking like a fool because the people I was with don't "get it". BAck to the YC and scrapbooking---I finally went to bed around 3 leaving a room of about 200 women still working hard!!

Sunday was the last day, had to get all packed up and ready to go before hitting the parks. We went over to MGM because my friends hadn't gone there with me the day before. While they went on RnR twice, I went through Animation and got to spend a lot of time just looking at the art. It was all the Cars drawings and I was just in awe and thankful for the time I got to spend just appreciating it and not having to rush off to do something else. We left around noon b/c our ME bus was picking us up at 3. But we still had to do lunch--where else---Beaches and Cream!! #3!!

It was a fun trip, I missed the girls a lot but was thankful for the time I could just walk around and not have to go commando and try to see everything. It was so much fun being able to look at the little things for a change, but I found myself saying, I'll be back in less than 8 weeks, so I don't have to rush!! :cool1:

Ohhhh scrappers have you guys seen this?

I just bought one on ebay and got it yesterday. It really looks cool. I dont scrap a lot a home so I think it will be handy to take to a crop.

that sounds like so much fun!

This is the box I made in the class I took. It's really no where near complete because there's a lot more embellishing to do and even more after I add pictures. It's made of 4 pieces of 12x12 paper and has enought room to put 48 pictures! There's pockets for tags and things and flaps for journaling. It is the coolest thing!!
