Howdy DISers! I'm having a mini-meet in Tubi's Beffeteria in the WDW Dolphin on Sunday, May 22 2005 at 12pm.

Several members of Tagrel.com (which is sort of my 'home' Disney web community) and Kathi and Brian's Clubhouse will be attending, and I'd love to have any DISers who will be in the neighborhood and have some free time drop in for lunch or just to say hi. I've only been on the DIS boards for a few months, and so far I've only met one DISer (DiSnEyNuT).

I have it on my calendar and am really thinking about going over for the weekend, but I'm afraid I'll chicken out! I have no problem going over to WDW for time away solo, but to actually meet other solos....YIKES!

I do have a nice week planned in October at WL....I'll be meeting up with a family I met online. Maybe that would be a better place for me to start.

Like I said, you can drop by for a few minutes to say hi and run off if it gets to be too much for you.

I might be able to make it! I'm doing my first solo trip (yikes) to Disney that week. I'll be staying at Old Key West that Sunday, so getting to Tubby's may be a hassle, but I'll see how my schedule goes. (I'm at Boardwalk until Saturday -- figures that I'd be moving from the Epcot resort area the day before the meet!)

How will I recognize the DISers group? Will you have lots of lime green?

I'm sure there will be plenty of lime green, but I'm also making nametags.

You won't have any trouble spotting me; I'm 6'-4" tall so I tend to stick out a bit in a crowd.

Plus I'll be surrounded by a group of goofy, giggly Disney World fanatics.

Hi, Will! I'm planning to be there!

I'm at "the World" now, and lots of non-DISers are wearing "our color" -- lime green! Makes it hard to tell who is a DIser! But, I have a DIS pin, and I also got & laminated a lime green Mickey-ears shaped paint chip from Home Depot. So, a couple of DISers have spotted me.
